There's really no way to know if you'll get one of the decent sites, or one of the almost a cement pad sites. There's no water pump either and this isn't pointed out when booking a site here. For some inexplicable reason, the SaskParks staff and conservation officers we ran into only seemed to care about whether we had a vehicle pass or not. They sure didn't care whether our campsite was safe and clean or whether we were having an enjoyable time or not. Nope. Just about that $10 a day. Here's a tip SaskParks. If someone has rented a campsite and enters a vehicle license plate number (required), then roll their access pass into the price of the campsite. Then have staff check license plates. You're public servants. Your job is to serve us. Not the other way around.

We stayed at the lower Anglin camp. There were no staff on duty at either of the parks and nowhere to check in. There was supposed to be maps and info available at the kiosk but nothing was there. Campground is nice and we had a good stay. But there needs to be more info and better signage to direct campers to the lower Anglin camp

Protip. You need a parks pass in a provincial park. This campsite is now 7 individual sites as opposed to the group site it was before. Each of the sites now has a fire pit and the firewood is plentiful. There is a wood shelter with a couple of picnic tables. No water unless you go to Anderson point. Pit toilets.
