GURU NANAK FOOD BANK ABBOTSFORD

Glad they shut this place down, rat infested food storage , my wife and i needed help we signed up and never got a pick up date or anything no follow ups, guess thats why they are shut down, im glad we didn’t get food from there because this place was disgusting inside and outside , looked like a crack den to be honest.

This is great initiative from Guru Nanak Food Bank. Gagan was really nice, she explained everything clearly.Really appreciate the service.

Nice place for new comers or students to get help in the beginning of their journey in canada. Very kind and helping staff helps in provinding basic daily essentials

Felt booked an appointment to try and get food went in yo bo told i needed more documentation to get help. Asked if there was anythong i could do to get through two weeks with out having to get all documentation of bank accounts and all the running around as i do work but due to weayher and breaking my wrist last year at yhe start of my season put me in this predicament and just needed help for food to get me yo end of month. Turned away with 2 cans of tuna a can of beans a bag of decaf coffee grounds and a can of spaghetti. But at the end of the day i just felt like i had no right to ask for help from them as i am not indian im white. Felt really disrespected ftom the time the door was answered and stayed thay way as long as i was in the abbotsford location. Oh and now that i think of it look at the reviews all except for mine 5 star and all except for mine posted by someone of indian heritage.

I highly appreciate the service Guru Nanak Food bank is providing. This has helped me to settle in the very month, during the time when most of the international students struggle where to get even basic daily amenities. I am very thankful to this organisation.
