Dear Mickey, we came by about 2 months ago and it was you that did the tour, I was not trying to be mean but just trying to help people looking for a place for love one. The last name of my partner is Wilson , I hope that helps! We also gave you stars based on your property it is very nice anyone moving there would be happy, and the more I read my original post maybe it comes across in bad way sorry for that ...I will delete it, but again I was not trying to be mean just trying to help.

I have visited Cherish at Central Park and was deeply impressed by the amazing experience they offer the people who live there. Absolutely first rate staff and facilities. One of a kind!

I've been studying COVID-19 outbreaks across Canada and Cherish at Central Park has handled the pandemic perfectly. Residents enjoy on site vaccines, booster shots, all guests sign in and are screened for double vaccination. Cherish at Central Park is the only retirement community I want my loved ones at during this challenging time in human history. Thank you Micky for everything, you are amazing and your service to the senior living community is very much appreciated.

I am really impressed with the community that has been created and is growing at Cherish at Central Park. While waiting to visit one person, I overheard the daughter of someone else who lives at Cherish commenting on how her mom didn't want to do anything on Mother's Day because she had already made other plans at Cherish, lol.

No response from the owner on my review because they haven't a leg to stand on! If you are a resident here or have family living here- know your legal rights! They will attempt to take advantage of vulnerable seniors and many won't know they are being ripped off!** check out Go Fund Me page** seeking funds for legal action against Cherish at Central ParkI would guess most positive reviews are fake- they all are one line and say almost exactly the same thing- most reviewers only have one or two reveiws - all trademarks of fake reviews.My mother was a resident for 5 1/2 years. When she moved out end of October 2022 they wanted $1000 over and above security deposit to replace carpets- I refused to pay. I have spoken to other residents and they have had same experience. Apparently Cheish at Central Park doesn't beleive the BC Residential Tennancy Act guidelines for 'reasonable wear' apply to them. Jan Rai told the tenancy act does not apply so he thinks they can do what they want- it most certainly does apply to them and i am holding them to it!They made us pay for professional movers when my brother and I were prepared to do it- I am seeking this money back as thee was no legal way they could have required this.They have not returned security deposit and I am now filing for Dispute Resolution.Check your rights and the law when dealing with these people! They will lie and try to take advantage of the elderly and families during crisis. Not sure how Cherish ownership or management can deny any of this- I have emails from them varifying what I state if anyone wants verification. The only other option is the Community Care and Assisted Living Act. The owner of this facility claims the RTA does ot apply to them when convenient but when asked to provide care she says 'we dont provide care'- thatbis stated in their rental contract! She tries very intentionally to play both sides. They are not licensed under this act and under this act they are not allowed to collect a deposit or charge for damages. Which is it micky? Residential Tennacy Act or Community Care and Assisted Living Act? Where is your proof of certification to be allowed to operate under the CC & AL Act? I've requested this at least twice! I've checked, you're not a registered care facility!The owner of this facility is directly involved in illegally strong arming seniors or their families into paying for brand new carpets in their long term rental units, ignoring allowances for reasonable wear and tearPlease contact me and I will share documents regarding my moms situation.This facility is intentionally taking advantage of seniors and their families.Please micky- I'm eagerly awaiting your reply here, I'd love to see what you have to say.

Just moved my mom in a few days ago. The staff have been so accommodating and friendly to my mother, husband and I. Before she moved in the carpet was replaced and the walls painted. The building is kept very clean and the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety, security and comfort of the residents. My mom was feeling isolated and alone in her condo and with our jobs and the distance, it was difficult for us to be there to help her when she needed it. Now she is much closer. We are able to see her more regularly and we know if she needs any help she just has to call the front desk. We are also impressed with the meals she is receiving. We were concerned with her not eating properly on her own. Her being able to go to the dining room and connect with others and get a healthy meal, I can already see her spirit and mobility picking up.We did our research for retirement homes and Cherish was not only a lot closer to us, but it was less expensive, more esthetically pleasing and close to all amenities. Highly recommend it.

I had no clue what to expect and I've seen Happy Gilmore. I was so worried about my Mom's happiness and after meeting Micky and some of the Cherish team I felt better. The property is beautiful, kept immaculately clean and the staff treat my Mom like family. I am happy more than happy with the service and value for the price. I recommend this property to anyone looking for independent living accomodations for their 55+ loved one to meet new friends and live their best life.

My Mother in law lives in the Cherish and loves being there.What a great, bright place for seniors.This is an amazing new building with great facilities and very caring staff.Excellent food and lots of activitiesThe staff is doing a great job.
