My go to butchers. Very friendly staff and the meat taste so good

Bilal butcher shop is a fine place to shop. They are honest(Amin) in their sale and always pleasant to customers. We have been going there for a year now and have had a wonderful service and fresh meats each time. We had forgotten to take our chickens one time, and then the Next time we visited, (2-3 weeks later) they had remembered and reimbursed us. We didn’t even remember or ask for a reimbursement. Thank you so much for such amazing service.

This butcher shop has been such a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first went in, as halal is not a consideration for me. I am so glad I stopped by! The ground beef is ground fresh when you ask for it and you sure can tell. I had chicken breasts leftover a few days after they were great in a first meal and even a few days later, they were moister than anything I have bought in a supermarket chain. The prices are as good or better than you will get anywhere else. I now rarely shop for meat any further from home than the few blocks to Bilal Farms Butchery, where I know I will get very fresh, high quality cuts served up by some of the friendliest folks around. If you are in the neighbourhood, do yourself the favour of stopping by.

I buy my meat from here for a long time. Their meat tastes like meat from the farm for those who grew up in the country, authentic and with a defined taste. This brings me back to so many pleasant memories. When I visit family in other cities, it is their meat that is requested. They ground up your meat as per your order (normal, lean or extra lean). Except for 1 cashier, all personnel is very nice and at your service. If you are looking for something organic, locally sourced and fresh, I would highly recommend this butcher shop.

I think the best butchery I have found in Ottawa. The taste of lamb, beef, and chicken are beyond delicious. Highly recommended.

Very bad service and rude and brainless people. They give you number so you can collect the order based on your number. Yet, who ever is more aggressive, gets his order first. If you complain, they do not have reasonable answer. Not sure why they give numbers. I could only managed to get my order when I started to argue. Other who came after me and had higher number, got the order first. They have a monopoly. There are other better options. I will certainly list few with better services (in Ottawa). This is the only way they will behave.

Reasonable priced store. Good customer service. I am new to Ottawa and was looking for a good halal butcher shop. I tried quite a few and finally this one. They get their meet fresh on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Waited in line for 30 mins without being acknowledged while butcher was butchering 2 full goats. When it was our turn he tells us there is no goat left. Very poor customer service. When we arrived we should have been asked what we were there for.

Staffed by sons of Bilal Farms owners. Very friendly. They know their meat and cuts. Provide hints on how to cook. Prices are much better than other Halal Meat Shops in Ottawa. I know the owners; very honest people.

They are very rude and racist. Be away of those people!!
