Canadian Tire

The service department at the Okotoks CT location is great. Jim and the crew do a good job. I love the weekend hours so I don't need to take work time off to get my service done. Saves me money. Tire services are also excellent. Free repairs and rotations at any CT.... How can you go wrong, you're never far from a CT if you have an issue.

Possibly the worst Canadian tire in southern Alberta. The products are decent bang for you buck. However, don’t expect them to have what you’re looking for. Their inventory online never matches in store. (Multiple experiences here like this.) The staff don’t know where anything is or if they have stock. Do not order online as your order will most likely be cancelled. Ordered tires in store for my wife’s car, they forgot to let me know they were done, and lost the purchase order. I had to call back a bunch of times until they realized they had a set of tires with no paperwork waiting for pickup. The tires were also not balanced properly, took them to Canadian tire on McLeod and got them done right. Usually nothing but a let down. Not too bad if you’re going in to browse, but if you’re looking for something specific save yourself the headache and just go to high river or into Calgary.

I checked them out on the internet and then visited the store. They had everything that was indicated on the web, and in the correct locations. Paying was a breeze, no wait.

Went there today to buy a specific recycling bin and the app said that the Okotoks location had 8 in stockWe went to the aisle and there was 0Finally found someone in a red shirt and he scanned it and said oh ya they aren’t showing upYa duhHe didn’t even go check the warehouse which is where there were because he said they weren’t even showing up as in the warehouseWe go home and I order one on line and not even two hours later I get a confirmation email telling me that my purchase is ready for pick upTrain your staff better to actually follow through and look for a product or the warehouse staff to actually put the product out on the floorThis location continues to disappoint

Went to this store on Sat. to get an outdoor chair advertised in the flyer. Apparently the flyer had the wrong price on the chair. The employee that helped us look for the chair and try to solve the problem was wonderful and very nice. She went to get a manager" to see if he could help but this manager had terrible customer service. He basically told me that the flyer was wrong because that product was on sale last week

Don’t ever go to the Canadian Tire Service for your car. I had a simple tire swap from winter to summer tires. They had put the tires on the wrong side and that caused a crack in the rim and then it started giving me issues with my tire pressure. I went back to see if they can resolve it for me. There is an assistant manager that was unprofessional and rude, did NOT have any respect gave me attitude with ever responding answer. He’s name is Garrett and he was just horrible I think he should be FIRED he really doesn’t know how to speak to customers the attitude was just so rude.

Canadian Tire OkotoksWent to this location to pick up several items.Service was very good.I was asked if I needed assistance twice in the store which was very helpful. One was to find a gasoline syphon which the person took me to and showed me the many options. Later I ran into another employee who helped me locate the thermometers. What was excellent was both of these persons knew exactly where to find the items I asked about. We also purchased two large storage tubs. When I got home, I saw one of the hinges was broken and took it back the very next day. No issues on the refund. Nice! We did walk through the store to check out Halloween items. Pretty neat selections. Overall the store and the washroom were very clean. They have a large parking lot too. I asked about the taxidermied heads and was told all of these animals died naturally. I found that interesting.

I had to purchase new wind shield wiper blades I received excellent customer service in automotive. Then they had me drive right into the Canadian tire shop to have them replace and the young man was very helpful. Thank you, Carol!

This place is an absolute joke. From never having the stock that they claim to online to putting a completely wrong online order in a locker and then making you wait in a long line of paying customers instead of being able to go straight to customer service, like most places, to fix their mistakes. The incompetence is strong at this store.
