Gammondale Farm Family Fun

Nice place for fun. See the pumpkins, go to scary room, lots of games, cute cute rabbits, beautiful horses, coffee place and lot more.

This is a magical place for children. Our 3 year old was so enchanted and there was a little bit for everyone. We went during the pumpkin fest and it was snowing and a really perfect family outing.Masks are required in indoor places for covid. I recommend rubber boots during rain or snow.Don't miss out on this gem if you can swing it!

Great autumn activity for kids, will entertain them for hours, and they'll talk about it until next year. Pumpkins for sale, and food available (hot dogs, pumpkin soup, coffee etc).

Just about every year our church heads out to this farm for the Sleigh Ride. We always love the enthusiasm and pleasantness of the farm owners. The children usually get lost in the barn, swinging on the ropes and climbing hay bails while laughing and singing. The rest of us spent quality time in the provided cafeteria adorned with old farming equipment and photos from years ago. I am sure the children will be excited for the next visit to Gammondale Farms.

This farm is an excellent place for the Sleigh Ride. The owners of the farm are delightful and very enthusiastic. I spent quality time there. They have a collection of old farming equipment which is worth watching.

The farm overall was alright. A bit pricey for the experience you get.What was super frustrating was the “Covid rules” they had in place today. You could enter the building, purchase food but you were banned from eating or drinking in the building. This was not disclosed to anyone at the time we purchased tickets. We only found out when we entered to purchase food and were loudly told “you can’t sit and eat.” This rule makes no sense and is not backed by science. You aren’t required to mask to enter the building. You can come in and warm up. You just cannot eat. Unfortunately this really made for a poor experience as I had young children and expected to be able to use the seating area. I wouldn’t recommend Gammondales based on the poor communication and customer service during this visit

I had an amazing time! I got to see the chickens in the farm walk-through, and the girl stationed there was so sweet and nice. She was so enthusiastic about teaching about the chickens and showing us their eggs. All the kids there are super lovely. I loved the pumpkin toss and the boo barn, always classics. We also picked out great looking pumpkins.

Sue is amazingly friendly and always ready with a story. Great place for kids. We've done the sleigh ride there for a few years.

Family from across the country met in the Thunder Bay Area for a spring camping trip and while looking for activities for the kids we decided to book a last minute trip to Gammondale Farm. The owner Sue went out of her way to accommodate our family and even offered us a private tour. Sue had many activities planned for us including a barn full of farm animals to pet, baby chicks to hold, tractor rides, and several other kid friendly actives that were randomly initiated along the way. Very happy the Thunder Bay Region has this place! Highly recommend - was the highlight of our trip.

Incredibly beautiful and family friendly place. A must visit for all families visiting the Thunder Bay area.
