I needed help moving back home London to Los Angeles. There are a ton of movers out there and I made sure to call each one for a quote and availabilities to fit my schedule.I called CanWest Van lines and they didn't hesitate to help me with all my needs and they were also very decently priced. They moved all my furniture without a scratch. I didn't have to worry about my expensive items at all - especially on a long move like this one. I'd definitely recommend CanWest if you're in need of some moving help!

We had been supplied with first-rate offerings at an inexpensive rate. And they packed my objects with outstanding care and transported them properly. Thank you to the organization. I advise their services to anyone.

Manager and his crew moved us some weeks ago. Staff was really skilled. They arrived on time and wrapped all items perfectly, and couldn't suggest them enough.

BEWARE. Not only are CanWest Van Lines unprofessional, they are negligent. I used them for a cross border (US to Can) move in July 2021 and the storage of our items until we found a home here. I paid them upfront as required by them for cross border moves. Instead of a moving truck, they rented Uhaul trucks locally. Instead of moving our things across the border with us, they stored them in the US. Then didn't pay for that storage resulting in all our things being auctioned off by the storage company for non-payment. The agent miraculously" found the buyer of our things but left it to me to BUY our things back (some of which had already been sold or thrown out). After phone calls and emails I have heard nothing back from CanWest. They are a reprehensible company who caused significant financial and psychological damage and I will be taking this further.***August 1

With the current restrictions in Canada such as no containers being readily available for US moves for those who live in the interior I needed to make an informed decision about getting my possessions from Canada to the US. I spoke with a very helpful Can West van lines agent months before my moving date. The real bonus with choosing CanWest is that they offer a binding contract at a fixed to move rate rather than by the usual cubic feet and a non binding contract as offered by most other moving companies. I had real visions of going over the agreed upon cubic feet and being charged a lot extra..as it is charged by the pound. Yikes! As it happens I had way more than I thought so that would have been the scenario. Hard to change ones mind when the truck is already loaded.This agent was very helpful from start to finish, furnishing me with a senior discount and taking care of a myriad of details involved with an international move. Winter, with snow on the ground and slippery roads is not the best time to make a move but the crew charged with loading the truck showed up in a cheerful mood, were very hard working and no nonsense.CanWest really took care of me and my belongings. Highly recommended.

Finally found a honest mover. The Canwest team arrived on time to take everything from Toronto to Vancouver. They were extremely efficient and had everything wrapped and packed and loaded in five hours. The crew was polite, professional and highly respectful in total contrast to our experiences with other large movers. They packaged all of our art work and did a great job packing our crystal collection. I’ve already recommended Canwest Van lines to a coworker.
