Old Island Pest Control

These guys were super easy to deal with and professional; and although I don't have any frame of reference to say whether or not their prices are any good I'd say it was pretty darn fair for the quality of service they provide.

We discovered that rats are getting into our crawl space and so called Old Island Pest Control. Al Arkell came promptly and set 10 traps in the crawl space and two special traps outside that would not harm other living creatures, where we discovered that they were getting in (2 places). He advised us not to cover the holes where they were getting in until he returned in two weeks time as he said that no other rats would enter as their ferimone smell would keep other rats from entering for at least two weeks. Then he would cover the holes where they entered on his return with a 1/4 square mesh metal hardware cloth which he said would keep rats and even mice out of the crawl space and he would remove the rat traps in the crawl space.We really liked Al. He was very personable and gave us a good feeling about what he was doing. And the price was right for the time he spent doing his job."

I am very happy with the service Al provided and the overall experience/customer service with OIPC. We started with a rat problem and a squirrel problem came up while that was in process and we were able to tackle both. Al was always on time, great at communicating, very personable and solved both problems efficiently. I have been really happy with the experience start to finish and would highly recommend.
