My mom came in at around 1-2pm on January 20th to ask about new phone plans. A middle aged brown man about 5’7 helped her. My mom is an immigrant so her accent is not the best, but she can fluently speak and communicate. This man was very disrespectful and impatient because my mom could not understand him as he was talking very fast and overcomplicating his words. When my mom asked him to repeat something because she did not understand, he curtly told her “Repeat to me what you understand already”, and began explaining concepts again in a very rushed and annoyed manner, not speaking slow and clearly at all. He was very blunt and rude with her throughout the entire visit and she felt extremely upset and discriminated against after her experience with him. Do not go to this location again as the workers are clearly not taught patience and empathy especially when dealing with immigrants whose first languages is not english. Super discriminatory.

I recently visited the Shaw Retail store in Sunridge Mall and I must say, they are amazing! Not only were they able to help and resolve my account-related problem, but they also did it with a smile on their faces. The staff members were friendly and welcoming, greeting me as soon as I walked in. I really appreciate the level of customer service they provided and how they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. If you're in need of assistance with your Shaw account, I highly recommend visiting the Sunridge location - you won't be disappointed!

Poor customer services. As a Shaw customer for more than 18 years I had a very bad encounter with a Shaw rep and the manager with poor customer service unable to resolve a very simple changes on my account which I eventually did on phone and it took me only 5 minutes. I would advise staff needs adequate and substantial customer service skills especially at this location to deal with Shaw valued customers.

I ordered an iPhone 14 pro max, and I waited for 2 months for the phone to arrive. When I get there, it is just so annoying because I want to experience opening and unwrapping my phone but the girl who helped me just unwrap everything and set up the location, language and everything without even asking me if it is okay. Like, really? I waited for it for 2 months and she just ruin the moment. It still hunts me now and it keeps bothering me from time to time that all my friends ask me why it is set up in BC, I didn’t even live there. To that girl who help me around October last year, please be sensitive to your customers. Please, I beg you! Don’t ruin our moment!

Customer service is lacking overall but definitely something off during my current issues with their internet. I pay over 100 dollars for internet that crashes and glitches constantly in the first place but after coming home to my wifi out again I was told twice there was a outage in my area and to wait. after 5 hours of no wifi I called again only to be told there was never an outage at all. The prior 2 calls I was hung up on as well as the rep sounded half asleep and didn’t know what he was talking about. The third call I stayed on the phone with an individual who proceeded to chew food into the microphone loudly and later tell me I have to wait until Sunday for a technician to come and fix whatever is wrong. I understand tech fails all the time but as a person who uses their home as a partial work space I am very disappointed in shaws ability to actually help their customers.

The store is only good for registering for services. If you want to make changes to your account, return equipment, or cancel services they tell you to call the 1-800 number, this makes it very inconvenient on the customer

5 phone calls to NEVER reach a person but each call had me on the line for over 20 minutes and each time I WAS HARRASSED BY THE AUTOMATED ADVERTISING SYSTEM. Take a break on spreading the word and hire some people to answer the phone please.
