We had a fantastic time taking a date night class. The teacher was extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and we ended up with pieces we were super happy with! I would absolutely recommend Claymates to anyone and everyone.

Claymates Ceramics Studio
I had the pleasure of being taught by Sydney in an intermediate wheel throwing class. She was able to focus on all of the students and give pointers and advice no matter who or what was going on. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to improve their wheel throwing and to try out different methods of the craft. There's more than enough equipment and the teacher was absolutely wonderful!! I was able to throw my tallest vessel with the most amount of clay I've ever thrown with.

What an amazing ceramics studio! I love being a member here. The owner and instructors are all so friendly and helpful. The environment is supportive, covid-cautious, and fun! You can do pottery on the wheel or practice hand-building. Being a member, my skills are improving and my stress is decreasing! Thanks so much for being a part in my self care and creativity journey! There is also a small shop at the front of the studio where you can buy gifts or ceramic treats for yourself. Great spot for shopping local and supporting a women-led biz.

I am so glad I found Claymates when looking for a studio to join in Vancouver! The studio staff are the friendliest, most helpful folks and the vibes in the studio are always positive. The studio is organized, well equipped and veeery cute. I love being a member here.

I love Claymates - the community here is my favourite part. Everyone is so friendly and here to enjoy making ceramics. The studio has everything you need, including 10/10 glaze options (cute pastels!), and there's a little shop at the front entrance where you can buy people's incredible work. So great!

I’ve been a member of Claymates studio for over a year now I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I’ve also taken multiple classes in which I’ve learned so much and had a blast. The studio is organized, clean and cute. Everyone who attends is awesome and kind, and the glazes and firing process are always so smooth and turn out so good! Highly recommend!

After a 10 year hiatus from pottery, I became a member at Claymates studio. Avery runs a really well organized and clean studio. The selection of clays, glazes, tools, etc. are great and allow you to be super creative. The members are super friendly and supportive with people at all different levels. You can always ask a question and get help on a problem. I’ve thrown at a few studios and this is one of the best in Vancouver.

Me and my wife were so happy with our date night pottery class. So much fun. Averee and her team do such an amazing job at creating an inclusive supportive space, I'll definitely go back!
