My favorite coffee shop & bakery ever ! My husband and i have traveled all over North America and this is hands down our favorite little cafe we've been to. There espresso is so smooth and delicious, the sourdough bread has the perfect crust with a soft interior that doesn't make you bloat after eating it , the baked goods are all soo delicious and the staff are just the sweetest , always so kind and friendly. I can't say enough good things about fifth chute. It's a hidden gem in the Ottawa Valley and we're truly lucky to have them . Would highly recommend

Stopped into this little hidden gem on our way back from a nearby business venture. We were greeted by Peter (If I recall the name correctly) who explained the foods available and gave us a brief explanation of the locale. My colleague and I both were amazed by the atmosphere and the small town charm of this place. Drinks were great and the service was top notch! Thanks again!

Passed by Eganville and found this little gem. Grabbed a cup of pecan flavoured latte and a sourdough. Latte was very good and the sourdough was definitely a surprise! It’s crunchy outside and so soft and tasty inside. Remember to grab one when you pass by.

Possibly the best coffee shop in all of Ontario. Excellent espresso drinks, plus top notch sourdough bread baked fresh daily. Sandwiches and pastries, preserves and other cold drinks. I could go on. I was blown away ! Will be back whenever we are visiting Eganville. Don't miss this spot !

Such a cute place!! Absolutely loved our experience here. From the coffee to the chai latte to the kids hot chocolate, everything was wonderful. They also have THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH!We will definitely be back here next time we are in Eganville

Modern trendy vibes in a little sleepy hamlet of Ontario. Friendly barista with solid espresso “pull” skills. Lovely warm fresh baked oatmeal cookie. Worth a stop if driving around nearby.

I have very high standards for bakeries. I honestly think this might be the best bakery in Ontario. Note that they do not do viennoiserie, but the pies, cookies, squares and sourdough bread are all just heavenly. AND they make an excellent breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, AND their sandwiches on sourdough are very tasty, AND the specialty coffee is also amazing, AND the staff are incredibly friendly. I wish I lived close enough to visit more regularly, but for now this spot remains a very special treat.
