Happy Star used to be 1 of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The last time I went there, the pork fried rice was inedible. The chef was understanding, he did not charge me.

Man look nothing had flavor, the egg rolls were blan, the egg Foo young blan, the gravy had lumps and no flavor! I ended up going next door to the truck stop to get food yes I said truck stop, a cold sandwich is better than this place.

I had the beef in garlic sauce. Large portion, vegetables were cooked just right, but I just didn't like the brown gravy that they topped it with.

I've ordered food from this restaurant a few times and it's never been top-notch, It's been passable. The last couple times I've ordered it's just gotten worse and worse tonight's was an excusibly bad.Like many others have said, The chicken was tough, dry. Flavors were either muted, non-existent or misplaced. (Sweet general's chicken? Where even?)And quite possibly the biggest sin for a Chinese food joint: How you going to serve undercooked rice?What was once a local hotspot is now something I can easily overlook and justify the 20 minute drive to Littleton.

This was the second time we’ve gone here since they were closed from Covid. Needles to say that was the last time. We ordered General Tso’s, pork fried rice, crab ragoons and 4 beef teriyaki sticks. Not only was it overpriced ($51) but the rice was hard and no flavor, beef teriyaki was dry, and the general Tso’s had no sauce and the chicken was chewy and I couldn’t even eat two bites. They have gone downhill within the past few years and way overpriced. Take the time to drive to Littleton or somewhere else to get yummy, fresh better priced Chinese food !!!

Service was great and the preparation time was quick. I flavor was great and the portions was a lot very good and trucker there is parking next door it’s a good location to get a good breakfast, lunch and dinner

The food isn't horrible, but definitely nothing to special. The place looks a little run down. Personally, I wouldn't eat here again unless there was nothing else available.

The food is very good, it tasted fresh, an the meat was tender. The vegetables was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend. The staff is friendly an professional. Very kind.

Wow, we have been here many times, it is not our favorite, but it's close to our house and a solid 3 or 4 star. We ordered a pu pu platter for 6 and rice then told them we would be there in 20 minutes and we were. So in the 5 minutes it takes to get home the food was ice cold and it looked like we got what was left at the bottom of the barrel. Besides we were going over the bill.and honestly never realized that the cost is so much more than what we normally pay at the other place.
