I was driving through Fort St John when my car suddenly gets a horrible metallic noise. Although it disappeared suddenly as well, Jeff was incredibly thorough and drove it around the block with me while explaining what he saw. He was also kind enough to not charge me for his time even though I tried. Wonderful experience, hope they do well.

Unfortunately I did not have a very good experience with Walt’s. I had herd good things about the company so thought I made a good choice in choosing them. My power steering was aerating and leaking fluid from the line. Took it there and they diagnosed that the power steering pump was the issue. Paid $400 for parts and labour. The next day after getting it back the aerating started again and the fluid was still leaking when we looked under the hood. Took it back and they tested the line a determined that the line had a leak and would need changing. I thought maybe they would have warranty or would offer some kind of discount since I just had it there but they didn’t. They quoted another $400 for parts and labour again. I’m not sure why the line wasn’t check for a leak the first time since that was the initial concern but I’m on a fixed income so couldn’t afford the second repair at this time. Upset that the company didn’t acknowledge that it was misdiagnosed and still wanted full price again to fix the initial problem. After all said and done my vehicle is still aerating when turning and I was left feeling scammed.

I prefer to do my own work on my vehicles but when I do have to bring something into a shop I have always gone to Walt's. The people are honest and friendly, the service is top notch and their shop rate is reasonable.I dropped my truck off at 2pm on Friday afternoon because I lost my brakes. I figured it was a wheel cylinder or blown line and didn't think the shop would even have a chance to look at it until the following week. 4:30 rolls around and I get a call saying that my truck was ready (it was a wheel cylinder)! I didn't have a way to get to the shop before they closed for the weekend so they actually sent someone to pick me up and home and bring me to the shop.Highly recommend!

Walt's is always a business of high integrity, with thorough feedback, honest service, excellent work, and good prices. I went there the first time over 30 years ago and received exceptional, reliable serivce. It has grown quite a bit but is still just like that. I am grateful every time I am there and wish the upcoming 3rd generation as much success as the first 2.

We were passing through and had a check engine light come on. We stopped at Walt’s and they read the code and determined that it wouldn’t effect the engine performance allowing us to continue on our way. They wouldn’t let me pay them for their time. So I am trying to pay it forward. Use Walt’s. They are upright people and will treat you fairly.

Jeff's team always looked after my company vehicles in a timely, professional manner and got us back on the road. Their prices fair, work far above average.

Don't ever get them to install a new diesel engine in a Dodge Ram. They will destroy the hood and bolt a completely toast turbo onto a brand new 14k crate motor. As well as bill me $4500 and every light the dash had was on when I started it.

Helpful, reasonable and doesn’t try to pull a fast one or do unnecessary work.

I had excellent customer service. They got me in and out within days which i appreciated as my car's issue was an emergency and my only means of transportation. They even went as far as to give me a ride home and back to pick up my car because i could not find a ride.I was very happy with the repairs. Not only did Jeff do the repairs quoted to me, he also checked my tie rods and noticed they needed to be replaced. I was glad he noticed, so i am booking an appointment for next week.I feel very confident going back to Walt's as i did last year to replace an oil pan gasket. Top notch service!
