Was very pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. Warm, friendly and efficient service and the food was really well prepared and tasty.

I think we all agree when the menu says ½ rack of ribs we believe it to be a certain size – namely ½ of a full rack. In the Albatross Restaurant however, this means it is half the size of whatever size they get their meat in – which is approximately the slice of a piece of bread. Not only is this a ridiculous concept, bordering on false advertising, it also makes for a very expensive meal considering what you actually get.Food was fine and service was fast but because they play games with portion sizes, I cannot give them more than one star and I suggest you give them a miss until they figure this out and serve what they promise.

Wait over an hour, dinner was burn, fries really cold, wrong food on plate, no drink menu so ordered a pop after waiting 45 mins & asking twice ended up with really flat fountain drink, ordered hot tea, also came out barely warm & didn't seem like anyone cared including management, who just basically threw my money back at me without making any comment, doesn't look like that will help any tourist rate Newfoundland service or food very well, we weren't the only customers who thought it was terrible either plus wasting our time just to leave hungry, not in any hurry to check it out again if ever
