Burns Jewellers

Brought in two broken watches last week to the Peth location. My Tag Heuer Grand Carrera needed a new band which they custom fit in order to still use the beautiful band clasp that comes with the watch. My Rolex Submariner also had a broken band which was also repaired on the spot. Super great job on both and done while I waited. On my way out I noticed a beautiful diamond ring set and the owner made me a heck of a deal on it! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and pricing.

Didn't have a great experience here. I bought an engagement ring here and when I brought it to be sized I was told it would be a week, after waiting the week with no call I decided to call and ask if the ring was ready, I got a rude reply from the owner saying NO it's not ready, we will call you if it's ready. I understand he probably gets these calls all day, but I would assume he would understand considering we are a newly engaged couple and were excited to get our ring back and we were calling at the end of the week when we were told it would be done. We waited another week and finally got the call on that Friday saying the ring was ready. So we went and picked it up... The sizing was done horribly, the ring is slightly different in color where they worked on it, you can see the seem, and the shape isn't exactly round anymore. Wouldn't go here again after that experience, overall staff was nice to deal with, but the owner isn't very friendly and the goldsmith that worked on our ring doesn't seem to be very good. Will be taking the ring to be fixed by a real professional.

We have been shopping here for the last 4 years whenever we vacation at Silver Lake. Been quite pleased so far, good items, reasonable prices and good service. We have purchased necklaces, watches, earrings and bracelets. Nice jeweler overall.

I called to ask If they test diamonds for authenticity because i was buying a ring private sale, he said yes So I asked the individual to bring it to Burns in Perth at which point he told her she shouldn't sell it to me because it was too cheap and she should be asking for more. So glad I tried to direct business in your direction...... way to do business Burns. After all the awful things I've heard about your company I tried to give you the benefit of doubt, shame on me I guess.In response to your comments below, I will point out that when I called to question you about this I explained that I had intentions on getting you to size the ring and renew the finish to which you replied Oh

Replaced my watch battery. Resonable price great service

Over the past 15 years we’ve had occasion to buy a few pieces of jewelry at Burns and have always appreciated the friendly and helpful service. Recently, we brought In 4 rings for sizing / repair work, including my wife’s engagement ring. When we picked up the rings we noticed that her engagement ring had been rhodium plated over all the gold rather than how it was originally just plated in a small area - creating an accent/contrast that my wife preferred. We brought the ring back and spoke with the owner Mr. Burns who apologized for the error, explained how it had occurred and reassured my wife that it was a simple fix. He was very understanding, friendly and extremely patient. My wife picked up the ring which was ready only a few days later and couldn’t be happier. I should also add that we were extremely pleased with the work done on the other 3 rings we picked up and that the cost for all the work was far less than I had expected. I would not hesitate to bring jewelry back for work or to recommend Burns to anyone.

Brought in my wedding set, a diamond necklace and diamond earrings, looking to sell them.I came in and inquired about if Burns buys jewelry, and they said yes.I showed them my pieces, and they asked me what I was looking to get. I asked for a reasonable price, because, I brought in around $5000 worth of white gold, diamond jewelry. Understanding that I'm not going to get full price, however, I'd rather just keep it if the price is ridiculously low or sell privately..They offered me barely anything, and the man was quite rude in the way he spoke to me. He laughed in my face due to the price I suggested (mind you, I already understood I would not get full price), and the metal tin I brought the jewelry in. (A tin box that was my great grandmothers, that I used to store the jewelry as I tucked it away into my closet as it was too painful for me to look at the pieces/memories attached).If someone is bringing in a wedding ring set to sell, they're usually not selling it due to a happy reason.My now ex husband had an affair and left, so it's taken me a long time be able to handle simply bringing in the rings to possibly sell.And this experience brought all that pain back up.If you're someone who is selling something due with pain attached to it, I'd avoid going here, as they are not grace giving or considerate of the reasons/emotions attached to selling.Find someone kinder.

Pathetic! Thought it was great service in beginning! Never going back! Got quote from owner about resetting my grandmother/mother's rings....then got estimates it was doubled! No apologies no remorse whatsoever! So not happy

My now husband and I visited Burns Jewellers to purchase his wedding band. Lois was so much help and was able to find a ring that was perfectly suited for him. Even though I had a different ring shop in mind for myself, I was so pleased with the help that Lois gave that I decided to see what Burns had to offer. Lois took my description and was able to find my dream ring. We are both so incredibly pleased and will recommend them to everyone.

Fortunately they didn't charge me when they tightened the clasp on my watch because, they made it worse. Now I have to take it somewhere else so that I can wear it again.
