Varma Ashok Dr

Dr. Varma Ashok is as others said in review. He has big heart. Very generous and kind. I am new to Texada for a year. My dentist and orthodontist all are back in Ontario. My lower wire retainer's cement glue was off which left the wire end stick out poking my tongue.. there is no orthodontist in Powell River. Comox or kortney is too far not good for traveling under the pandemic. So i dared to try dentist in Powell River. Without knowing any dentists, i picked Dr. Ashok because i saw 5 stars from Google view i got appt next day. I was ready to pay for the service. Yet Dr. Ashok said it was his pleasure. I am so grateful. Dr. Ashok is as what the others said in review. Rare dentist to find. Thank you so much Dr. Ashok.

I have had a lot of dental problems in my life, and I moved around a lot, so I have had too many dentists to count up to this point.Dr VARMA is the best, and also my favourite. He has a big heart, he really cares about his patients, and he is honest with you.

An interesting experience…Ash, as he indicated to be referred as, displayed an unusual boisterous enthusiasm, as the end all, be all saviour for any dental ailments you might display as well as as any other ailments you may have.But as to his actual ability… there in lies the problem.By laying your trust and faith in his hands it appears that is more likely feeding an insatiable ego.Without getting into the minute details and instances of my treatment, I was left somewhat disturbed. So much so that I searched out a second opinion.And low and behold, my assumptions where correct.Not only where his dental procedures suspect, but also his treatment and recommendations for non dental related medical conditions questionable.Unfortunately this review will be audited in such a manner as to the discretion of the of their office, which means, it will be read and discarded.So sad.My only solace, will be that the reviewer and discarder, will burden themselves with that fact.This review has been personally archived for future use if necessary.

Best dentist ever!! Was able to squeeze me in for emergency tooth extraction, and made me feel very comfortable. Staff was excellent! Never had a procedure go so smoothly, because Dr. Varma has the best bedside manner. Thank you!

He was so great, made sure I was well sedated before going in for my wisdom teeth surgery, made sure I had anti swelling& anti nausea medication for after & antibiotics along with pain medication for after. Was super quick, definitely recommend.

Very Professional!! My family has long since moved away from Powell River, but when my oldest daughter moved here, Dr Varma's office was very accommodating with the last of her braces. My youngest daughter still see's him when she visits our family in Powell River as Dr Varma and the staff have always been really good to my family. My daughter doesn't want any other dentist!!
