Mo Thai

I’ll start off my saying I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. I love supporting local businesses and this one is woman owned. I was drawn in through the creative and funny social media marketing. Whoever handles the social media, props to you. I love that chef Mo connects with her customers and it’s very apparent that she is passionate about Thai food! The food here is terrific. I’ve ordered take out here twice now. The Thai milk tea is amazing 5/5. Order it. The khao soi is hands down my favourite dish 5/5. The pickled veggies on top is a welcomed addition to cut through the richness of the broth. I think if there was a fried egg on top with a runny yolk instead of the boiled egg, this dish would be next level. The green curry is such a very close second 4.9/5. There’s a ton of basil in the green curry and I love how aromatic it is. The other reviews aren’t kidding about how good this one is. The pad thai is surprisingly bland 3.5/5. There’s something missing in the pad Thai sauce and I can’t put my finger on exactly what. It’s missing a tangy, umami-ness to it. Typically when I go to a Thai restaurant, the pad Thai is my go-to so it’s unusual that it’s my least favourite of the dishes that I’ve tried. I also noticed that a lime wedge is not included with the pad thai. Those citrusy notes with my noodles are missed. The crispy noodles were also missing from my khao soi order which was disappointing. The online ordering platform would be better if additional ordering options could be added. For example: customizing spice levels for dishes, making notes about allergies, or extra green onions on the khao soi. I’m wary about ordering certain dishes because the online ordering system doesn’t allow me to customize for my allergies. I really hope they take this feedback (especially about the online ordering system) and make some changes. Otherwise, Mo Thai is an awesome addition to the Mississauga food scene and definitely the best Thai restaurant in the city.I also wanted to add that while this is a take-out business. They do have 1 small table that could seat 4 people. There’s no table service so just make sure to clean up before you leave.

I honestly wish they have more seating, however it is okay. Can always bringing it home or buy it and eat it in the car. This is my go to place for authentic pad thai for sure. My friend who been to thailand all her life said this is the place can eat authentic pad thai. So over the covid time, we came,bought it and eat it in the car. Since then my partner and i been here all the time. We drove 35 mintues to be here.their pad see ew is very good too. if the day you dont feel like sweet or sour then this dish will be good. we had their shrimp chips which is freshly fried, i bought it back and put it ina ziploc since I couldnt finished... still so good the next day or 2. It all happened over the weekend, we saw Chef Mo herself,the owner, she is very nice and explain abit of the pad thai. My go to place for sure.

Authentic Thai food. Best Thai food restaurant in mississauga. Our Thai food only restaurant in town. It’s a pity there is no dine in, but no one beat the flavor and taste of the curry. After you tried the green curry here, you will feel other Thai green curry is like with water in the soup.

Had 3 dishes, the pad thai, tom yum soup and the pad kra pao (?). All three dish sizes were substantial and generous with their meat. The Tom Yum soup was thicker than other places and very delicious. Pad Thai was also delicious but the rice dish a bit salty - could use more rice to absorb some of the grease and salt. Regardless all three dishes are highly recommended. The staff are super friendly and helpful if you have questions.

Very authentic Thai food! Papaya salad reminded me of my travels in Bangkok. Will try the salted crab version next time. Big shrimps in pad thai. Thai iced tea was gooood! Will be back!

First time trying this place and it's pretty good. Their drinks that we've tried ( Thai iced tea & Thai iced coffee) were one of the best in Mississauga in our opinion. Sticky mango rice was good aswell. Just hoping the portion is a bit bigger. Looking forward on trying their other food.

I came to this place looking at all the good reviews but not sure what the hype is all about. I believe $25 for 3 pieces of shrimp and some tofu and rice is a bit of stretch.Even if you order just shrimp, it’s mostly filled with tofu. Please be informed before ordering.

We ordered pad Thai and it was a big disappointment. It didn’t have any bream sprouts or peanuts with a few pieces of chicken. We complained and their chef Jessie refused to take any feedback despite us willing to take the same box back and share photos.
