Sheridan Library

This library is like my second home. 6years ago, as a new immigrant the staff helped me to use all available resources.My kids used to spend hours here.Elizabeth,Dana n everyone are super helpful.

Friendly staff who are very helpful. Good selection of books for a small library.

Very good system for books and some children even seem to have fun with the computers. Though they want some more games available (eavesdropper me). Great library.

The staff is friendly. Several computers are available—moreover, a computer with a scanner. There is a space primarily for kids. There is a quiet space with free wifi for working.

A couple of years back I visited this library with my children. When we were leaving Rosemary came after us interrogating me about a library-printed CD cover (a piece of paper). Me being me I tried to help to see if it was in the stroller which it wasn’t but she won’t let me go. My kids 2, 3 and a baby were agitated being stalled. One of my child ran outside a Good Samaritan helped him back to me… still Rosemary won’t let us go. I asked her if she can re-print the CD cover to which she replied “yes” but she still want us to find the lost one just because my “child was playing around that area.” She didn’t see my child removing the paper cover either. Rosemary put my child in harms keeping me hostage and caused an unnecessary scene which still bothers me to this day. She absolutely doesn’t know how to serve her job as a public servant and she is not suitable for a job that requires her serve children, adults and elderly alike without any prejudices.

The staff is very polite, and the availability of computers is great.

A welcoming place for everyone in the community to learn, play and use FREE Wi-Fi. Public libraries are family friendly now, so if you are still stuck on the shushing library staff stereotype…Get over it. You might get annoyed if you are trying to study and kid’s area is noisy, but think about where else could low-income families take their kids to play for free nowadays? Try to be more understanding of others in a shared space, and always respect the hard working staff~

I live locally, I absolutely love this Library. The staff are super nice and helpful!I hope they never shut this location down. It's one of the only good things in this area.

Besides being a library they are helpful and welcoming like a community centreMy daughter has been going 2yesrs to 4 years and adores seeing the staff. They also run various programs in person.

Very friendly staff. They are very helpful. My kids love visiting this library. Saturday lego club is so much fun for kids
