I had a very great experience traveling with viarail

Small city with everything in it except for fast trains.

Great service from the VIA Rail staff here. A bit far from the city centre, but quite accessible by city transit. Would be nice if one bus route would come right into the station.

Is there wifi at the saskatoon train station ?

Establishment is close the same time no store open

Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating of my grandmother. The station's getting kinda old but I like it in a quaint retro sort of way. My only complaint is that our train was delayed several hours because VIA is at the mercy of either CN trains taking priority on the rails, but that isn't specific to this station. Bring an extra book because it's quite possible that you'll finish your first one.

Stupid inconsiderate company. What a joke for a national rail line! Trains are delayed for hours at a time and nobody cares that the passengers go to hell. The call line is the worst service ever. Just shut it down!

I was there tonight dropping of family heading west. The stattoo in saskatoon is a disgrace. There was a 5 gallon pail with yellow water all around it and inside was a empty coffee cup no water. There were children running around one little one stepped in the puddle. I asked the man working there when he finally left the office and computer if it couldn't have been mopped up and he pointed and said yes there was a mop and he would do it later. He could have had it mopped up before people came for the train. My friend laughed and said he couldn't decide what attitude he would have. The lawn outside wasn't cut. We had rain today but this wasn't one day of growth. The sign said to on as sask was missing the light behind it. I was embarrassed for via to.let the station be seen like that. I arrived at the station Oct 11 and it was opened on time and the station attendant wasvery friendly, courteous and promptly fulfilled all her duties. She was the only good thing about the Saskatoon station however. The station looks old, neglected with Via posters from what looks like a decade ago. The old customer service booth is still there abandoned, washrooms need an update. All in all its about the same as the old greyhound bus stations. It feels like no one cares at Via or if they forgot about it. Compared to Halifax, Montreal, Jasper and Prince Rupert it's not even close. I feel like it might make more sense to just tear it down and build something smaller to hold the few people who travel through the station. I love to travel by rail and will continue to do so
