I can’t say enough positive things. The support and help they’ve offered me and my senior dog is very appreciated. I’ve had bad experiences with different vets in the past that have left me a bit apprehensive but everyone I’ve met has been kind and helpful. After two expensive emergency vet visits in a week, I came here and they signed me up on the spot so I would have regular help for my dog in the future. Dr Thomson was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we met. Nicole has gone above and beyond to find a good, suitable food for my dog who’s been very picky and I can’t thank her enough for all her help. Their knowledge and kindness is apparent from the very beginning. I would recommend this vet to anyone and give 10 stars if I could! Thank you for all your hard work for our furry family.

Hands down, the best ever!!!! They fit me in, with a full schedule, and my pup came away with a whole bunch of new bff's!! Awesome staff, Dr. D is the best, and we were treated like we were the only patients there, and all that mattered. I so highly recommend to anyone with a pet......they are amazing! You will not be disappointed.

I first met Dr.Thomson while she was filling in at our regular veterinary office. I was so happy with how she interacted with not only us, but with our cats, that we followed her to Garry Oak Veterinary (despite it being a 35 minute drive each direction!). She is incredibly compassionate and takes the time to explain things in a way that are easy to understand. I am so happy to have found a vet that I whole-heartedly trust with our fur babies. I strongly recommend Garry Oak Veterinary to anyone looking for a new vet!

This is by far the best vet clinic on Van Island. Dr. Dhawala and Dr. Emma are both phenomenal vets. The care, kindness, and knowledge of the entire team is unbounded.

Wonderful, warm and caring staff! Our puppy has been happy coming here even for all his shots! Both vets provide the time needed to ask questions and we never feel rushed. I would highly recommend their services.

Just had our first visit with Dr Dhawala at Garry Oak Vet Hospital. He was outstanding with my cats, answered all my questions, calmed my fears and we left the office with a treatment plan. I never felt rushed. The office staff MJ and vet assistant Brianna are both wonderful. I would highly recommend this clinic.

We took our 2 year old bernese-cross here when we moved from Alberta. Dr Thomson informed us (when we booked our appointment prior to arriving) of the shots needed that were different from Alberta (different bacteria!) that we never would’ve thought to check. They also have a great focus on preventative care that has already saved us a few trips back to the clinic!!A great experience - it’s so nice to go to a clinic that is a good size and not overwhelming for our pup to visit. Staff are all very friendly and our pup was always happy to visit!

Dr. Thomson, Dr. Abeywickrama, and the entire Garry Oak Veterinary Clinic are so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They truly go above and beyond to give incredible care to your pets. We wouldn’t want to take our animals anywhere else!

This is such a lovely facility with friendly, informative, and talented staff! We've been taking our puppy here since his first visit, and the veterinarians and technicians have always been on time without ever making us feel rushed. They've included us in every decision and given us loads of information on every vaccine and intervention reccomended for our puppy. Also, booking appointments is a treat with the incredibly friendly reception staff! Truly a gem of a place.
