We wanted to get our house value assessed because we had our taxes jump 40% in one year. We hired Power and Associates to assess our house and provide a detailed report we can submit to the city. Powers & Associates Appraisal Services Inc
I wasn’t sure if my property taxes or assessment were right. I heard of this company that does tax assessment reviews through a friend and hired them. They came in to do an inspection and I got the report back within about a week. It showed my assessment and taxes were pretty accurate. I didn’t get any reduction in taxes, but at least now I know im paying no more than my fair share. Thanks guys!

I wanted to get our house value assessed because I was curious with the city’s tax assessment this year. We hired Power and Associates to assess our house and provide a detailed report in case we had to continue on with the city. Micheal Podgurney came to the house and was in and out expeditiously. He was professional and easy going and was able to answer my questions without hesitation. In the end, his thorough report provided the information we needed and it showed that the city was actually close to the value so no further action was needed. I would hire this firm again for future endeavors.

Powers & Associates Appraisal Services Inc
We hired Powers and Associates to do a Tax Assessment Review on our home after we noticed our assessment seemed much higher than what we thought it was worth. After a quick call they inspected our home and made a report that showed the City had over assessed us by tens of thousands of dollars. We submitted the report to the city and eventually got our assessment reduced by about $20,000. They were professional and helpful through the whole process. I would recommend them for anyone who might think they are being over assessed
