I had front end damage to my vehicle years ago from someone who thought a hit and run wasn't a serious matter. I had the damage fixed at another shop that my insurance company directed me to. The work was supposed to be guaranteed for as long as I owned the vehicle.Fast forward to now, as I was preparing to have my vehicle stored for the winter and cleaning it up, I noticed the paint on the front bumper bubbling and flaking off in sheets. One as half the size of my hand.I had a friend have work done at Chapman and they spoke very highly of the experience. I called my insurance company and told them of the situation and said that this time, I was electing to have the fix done at Chapman. Since the original shop is no longer in business and they had this shop on their list, they were happy to accommodate me.My experience here was nothing short of fantastic. The high level of professionalism and communication was like nothing I've ever seen from a collision shop. I received email updates at each phase which meant I didn't have to call to check on it. Enterprise was on site as well to facilitate my rental car. When I dropped my car off, I was there to drop my car off and leaving in my rental car in 15 minutes. I received my car back in just a few days and when I got it back, I saw not only how flawless my bumper looked, but what an amazing job they did detailing both the exterior and interior. I didn't even realize that was part of it so I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw my car. This is a service one hopes they never have to use, but if I do, I'll definitely be bringing my vehicle back here. I recommend them highly.I've attached two Before" and two "After" photos. I used to be sad looking at how horrible my bumper looked but now I'm all smiles and couldn't be happier"

The team at Chapman is incredibly skilled and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They kept me up to date with the status of my repair the entire time and even helped fix a mistake my insurance company made.The damage on my car was pretty bad but they brought it back good as new. They even took a personal interest in my car and offered to paint the spoiler for free which I loved!

If you take your car here to get repaired through insurance, make sure you are certain they have estimated the damage properly beforehand. If they complete repairs on your vehicle and you find something they missed they will use every excuse in the book to not have to go back and fix it even if the issue is in the same area. Including (after none of their arguments held water) just saying outright we didn't have that as part of the scope at the time so it we are therefore not responsible to fix it". To me that says "we messed up but we think you should bare that cost". Beware."

Website states free quotes. However, they charge $100 at Bedford and $75 at Dartmouth. Strange, it's the same company but different price for quotes...I think the staff is not properly informed or trained. They have no clue what's on their website either. Can you imagine if all the body shops charge for quotes, then we're forced to not shop around. These businesses are saying they're so successful that they don't need our business, but if we need their services, we'll have to pay for quotes.

I had my car in for repairs due to a collision. I have used the Agricola location two times before, and have been exceptionally happy.I dropped my car off at the Agricola location on November 21 for a three week repair, and got it back December 29 from the Bedford location.I am not upset the repair took much longer than promised, however when I picked up my car from the Bedford location, all the stuff from the trunk of my car was thrown in my back seat, and on floor and the seats were put down pressing against everything, damaging a paddle I had kept in my trunk. Also, anytime I have taken my car for repair at the Agricola location, the car is cleaned before returning, but the back of my car was full of dirt and sand, and I needed to clean the whole interior when I got home.I was not impressed that after the repair talking almost a month later than promised, my car was returned to me like that.

When I called to book my appointment I made it clear the damage was underneath to the frame, no body damage. Whoever looked at my vehicle, did not even look at where the damage was, took pictures of the car and told me he’d make up a quote and email it to me. Very strange to me. My appointment was 130, was out of there by 135, didn’t receive any quote by email, called back around 430 to see where my imaginary quote was, was told it would be sent out shortly, but still never received anything.I’ve always heard good things about Chapman, but this was a strange experience for me.

I appreciate your response, it was clear that I was not happy to pay from the start. It doesn't address the fact that the shop even suggested we pay any amount for damages that we incurred while the car was in your possession. This is why I said, regardless of miscommunication over payment, why was me paying even a question? As you can see we have paid to avoid impact on credit so it was not and has not been about the money.Our car was in a non fault accident and Chapman's was recommended by insurance. It took months for them to receive the parts. We understand this was not their fault. However, due to the length of time the car sat on their lot the brakes had to be replaced. It is worth mentioning the car had a safety inspection the month before the accident and the brakes were fine. They advised us to claim through the insurance, insurance declined as the issues was not caused by the accident. Chapman's and insurance debated who should be responsible and could not come to an agreement. They ultimately replaced the brakes however, we were charged for the repair. There was some debate over what the expectation of payment was and we refused to pay. They ultimately had a collection agency contact me so I did pay but my argument was they had my car in their possession and returned it with an issue that wasn't there before they took the car to their lot. The insurance company agreed that had they moved the car to a different spot on the lot occasionally it would have avoided any problems with the brakes. Taking out the issue with what expectations were made about the payment ( because we also disagree on that) but I don't feel we should have been charged anything. They were the only ones that had control of the car at the time and the amount of time I spent arguing with them on it was crazy. They seem to think they did us a favor by picking picking the car up to do the brake job( to which I say this was because when we brought the car back for the work they had ordered the wrong parts which meant it had to be brought in a third time) they have also suggested they gave us a reduced price to which I say if not for their actions we would not have had to replace anything. One star because I can't give zero

I had used them once before and was no more or less impressed with them than the competition. I returned for more work and after much time and discussion I was informed by e-mail that the work could not be done for 6 months. That they don't mind wasting their own time is one matter but wasting mine annoys me. I'd avoid them like the plague.

CSN Chapman's just finished work on my Toyota 86GT. They perfected,.painted and installed an after market spoiler, installed a Wrinkle back cold air intake, and replaced my windshield after it took a rock off an 18 wheeler. The car came back better than it came new. The paint is perfect. Not to mention, it looks and smells like they gave it a full bubble bath and shampoo. Anyone who looks anywhere else for work isn't interested in the best. Thanks CSN! You have a lifetime client in me!
