I took my 12 year old daughter for a birthday haircut as she’s been wanting to change from very long to a shorter style. The lady accommodated us as a walk in but this was the worst choice I’ve ever made as a mom. She used thinning shears to do the layers and left the back in an uneven, chunky mess. My daughter was happy until she got home and saw the back which is even missing a chunk in one spot. Now she turns 13 tomorrow and hates her haircut. She is so upset and I can’t believe I brought her here but my hairdresser was away and my daughter insisted on a cut today. Big mistake. I know it’s just hairs and will grow back but my daughter is so upset and that’s what hurts the most.

While I can't speak about the owner, I've only briefly interacted with her, which she seems nice ( the reviews of either her being 5/5 star or 1/5 are odd to say the least), but I've gone to see Ian a few times, and he takes really good care of your hair, and cuts it perfectly.I've been to other places in the area, and for the price, speed and accuracy of the cut, honestly couldn't knock them for anything.

One of my friend recommended and booked me for the keratin treatment, I called in to confirm my appointment, instead lady started arguing with me for no reason, when i asked the timeline(give me rough idea, as i have to arrange care for my kid), instead of being compassionate and listening to what i am saying, she just hung up on me. Its fine if she is not ready to get more customers, thats a loss to her business.

I am very satisfied with this hair salon. I am new in Burnaby and have been looking for a salon which will give me the style that I want at a reasonable cost. My style hair design met all my needs. I highly recommend this salon. The owner is very friendly and customer service is very good. The covid precautions are also very commendable.

I have a lot of anxiety about getting haircuts, as I have an unusual style, and most places I go make me feel self conscious. Not only did I not feel judged for my hairstyle for a second, they also were quick and cheap. My hairstyle requirements are simple and easy, so it only took around 15 minutes and cost $20, I felt guilty paying so little!Thank you Alan for the cut!Everyone is very pleasant as well! Would recommend over any other place I’ve been in the last 10 years.

Super happy with Ranjna and her service. I used to go there for more than 4 years for my hair cut. Not only she has a great talent for hair styling but also she has a very kind heart! She just donated to the young girls and women in my country who are in protest against dictatorship government!Thanks Ranjna!

Rajna is an incredibly talented colorist. I've had her work on my hair twice now. The first time I had a Dark brown/Red ombre. My most recent visit, I got highlights, lowlights & a cut for $220. Bring cash or debit, as there is a surcharge for paying by credit. And street parking is metered (2hr max), so after 2 hours you have to move your car (you can't add more time). Highly recommend Rajna!

Convenient location and had a haircut for $32. Made a prior appointment and customer friendly lady. When I asked her to suggest me a suitable haircut, she asked my profession and suggested one. It was a good experience and the haircut was nice.Dropped a star as she didn't comb after the haircut for me to see the final look. Not sure whether that's not the practice here.

The owner there is very greedy and does not how to cut hair. She agreed to dyed my hair with the cream color I brought, a very good product I 've used for couple of years now. I did not had peroxide though. She agreed to put her peroxide and apply it for 40 bucks. In the middle of application, literally with half of my hair with cream color, she asked me for another 15 dollars to complete the application because she needed to use more peroxide. I didn't do a scene there, I didn't argue with her. I paid what she was asking because I had no intention to leave the place with my head half color, or pay 40 dollars for half job done. It was the first time I went there, and I chose that place because of Google rating. Please do not go to this place. Btw, she also cut my hair. She gave me a horrible cut and she doesn't know how to thin the hair with regular scissors.
