Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoppers Drug Mart is my favorite drug store and go frequently for all my prescription needs especially. The Pharmacy Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and answer any questions and provide their professional advice. They have reasonable pricing for all their inventory as well as weekly specials and once a month they have Seniors Day for discounts. Can't find what you're looking for? Simply ask a staff member who are more than willing to assist you.

Ordered very important supplies that I desperately need over the phone a week ago. The lady said “yes we will have that for you in a couple days” . I thought great, someone went to pick them up for me and they had no idea what they were talking about. Said I haven’t got anything there in a couple years. This lady was border line RUDE to a paying customer!!! Wouldn’t even offer to look around to see if it was there. I switched to shoppers after other drug stores in the area couldn’t get things right !I just don’t get it.....

The pharmacist that was working Monday August 29th at 1130, was the most amazing person I have met here!I am from out of town and was in the most excruciating pain from a infection..Thank you so much!!!I am so grateful for your help!

Planned power outage happens here today. I go to the store to pick up my prescriptions that I deeply rely on as I am all out of course, and I am told that it will be 20 minutes or so before they can reopen due to power failure. The lights are clearly on, their are staff in the store yet we are told to come back later. Two hours goes by, I return to the store again to only find out that they are closed due to the power failure. The power has been restored for hours now. I call the pharmacy and they tell me that their servers are down. They will call me back in an hour or so.As a customer I see this as a poor excuse and clearly no understanding and compassion for people's well being. Some of us count on these medications just to stay alive. I don't want to hear excuses. What did they do before servers existed? And by the way, these are medications that are already filled and ready for pickup. I even have an email notifying me that they are ready. When I spoke to the lady on the phone from the pharmacy, she had no idea of what I was calling for. I got the impression she didn't care. Just took my name and number and didn't want to listen. Now, I feel that I can't trust this pharmacy anymore. Bad experience can lead to someone like myself taking their business elsewhere to another place that I can hopefully trust.

I dropped a prescription off in the evening about 5 cars outside. 20 minute wait. To fill it that’s a bit slow. Thing was. I had to read the number of zeros on the health care card for the person that took the order. I counted 8 zeros she counted 5 with her pen. Sounds good.Someone needs to get her a magnifying glass. First time there not impressed.

Only one teller on lineup was 10 people long used self checkout needed help assistance with the twice to make sure it worked.

From the pharmacy to the beauty counter- this is my favourite drug store in town! You get nothing but local, friendly personalized service. From now on, I will only go here for any vaccines. The staff in the beauty/make up/perfume section is so knowledgeable and I never leave disappointed. Highly recommend!

Great sales. The check outs out usually have long lines. Seems to be short staffed. Have serve yourself cash checkouts for those using debit or credit cards.

Why is it so hard to get a cashier in the evening? Waited so long at the counter and when someone finally showed up, she acted like I was an inconvenience by wanting to pay for my stuff! She said if it's debit, I could go to self checkout. NO, IT DOESNT MATTER HOW IM PAYING. YOU ARE THERE TO DO A JOB. PART OF THAT JOB IS, IM ASSUMING, IS TO WAIT ON CUSTOMERS NOT CHATTING WITH YOUR COWORKER IN THE CORNER!This happens every time I go there in the evening. Maybe next time, if there is one, I'll bring a service bell

I want to post a nice review, but the pharmacy was unaccommodating, unknowledgeable and untimely. The medicine was for our epileptic two year old. We drove over an hour to get here, so at least they were open and we were able to get what he needed, thankful for that. July 8th between 6-9 pm.
