I called on the staff at the Penticton SPCA early Monday morning to help me.... my elderly 11 year old St. Bernard had lain down in the yard and was unable to get up. They provided guidance on how best to proceed and came to assist by carrying her and transporting her to a local veterinarian. They showed care and compassion during their involvement.

Oddly, they had no cats or kittens the day we were there. Hmmmm, for a city the size of Penticton and the fact that they are the only SPCA all the way down the OK Valley to the USA, I was surprised that they had zero cats needing rehoming.

Great Staff, very caring, excellent experience. I highly recommend adopting from the SPCA they match you to the right pet !!! ❤❤❤ I just adopted my beautiful cat Pebbles last Friday

Nice, clean, well organised. The entire experience of adoption was good. I even recieved a call from them letting me know they had a pet in mind for us that they felt was a better match than the pet we had filled out an application for. She ended up being the perfect match for us. The staff certainly cares and goes the distance for these sweet pets that are looking for their forever homes. ❤

I showed up at 4pm on a Tuesday because google said it was open and closed at 5. Little did I know that they cha changed their hours to close at 3pm Tuesday through to Saturday...When updating your hours, make sure to not updated them on your businesses page so you don't waste peoples time.

We fell in love with Claire who is now called Foxy because of her bushy tail. She is such a sweetheart and SPCA were so kind and helpful in the adoption process. Our whole family is smitten with her!!!
