Purchased a few pieces of fabrics from here. Very good quality and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’m also OCD, so to walk into a store that is is so highly organized and clean, was a wonderful experience for me. Shopping for fabrics in here is an easy experience. Also, there are some unique fabrics I have not seen in other stores on Queen street.

They deserve all the recognition they can get! Really friendly, really informative, and really sincere. They ask you want you want (it for), why you want it, for how long (winter into summer), and how long etc. If you're not very well versed like I am with the right terminology, they will help you and make recommendations. They'll also tell you who to go to for sewing which is around the corner too. They're good people, who has an honest business in the city. Thanks guys so much for your help! Corduroy curtains will be used well!

When I rolled into the store I expected them to say no unicycles" but the owner was very kind and let me ride my unicycle around and even let me in on a secret kind of unicycle seat fabric that only could be found at chu shing textiles. He sold it to me at an outrageously low price and it made me very happy. When I rolled out of the store the store the owner even said goodbye to me and offered me a special fabric made just for drying unicycle wheels and sold it to me at an even lower price than the unicycle seat fabric. Once we said our goodbyes and parted ways I rolled off into the sunset."

Great store for a wide variety of fabric and crystal accessories. This is my first stop when I'm making a bellydance costume. The staff are helpful and the prices are fair.

Chu Shing Textiles
I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing at Chu Shing Textiles. The owners are racist, and refuse to show you any fabrics unless you are White. I visited the store and the owner serviced a White customer extremely courteously, but when it was my turn to be serviced, he refused to help and walked away. I’m shocked that such business owners can be allowed to operate.
