Monaco Construction

I was reading the previous persons complaint. And it prompted me to write in about our experience. We have used the Monaco People a few times and I should sent in this review a while back but I am going to do it today.We had a lot of work completed by Monaco construction.Our roof was done about 3 years ago.Then they refinished our basement and 2 bathrooms.We are now having them come in for complete interior painting and changing some window.Our experience was to be honest a complete success.Every step of the way we had been patient of course while they did there home work which really helped us as we were lost as to exact finishes.Great company to have in for a quote and have work done.We only use Monaco Construction for all our renovations.As the previous person commented that they do not provide break downs on pricing. I had to Laugh because we have had work done by other companies prior to our knowing Monaco, and none of those companies would do a single break down as we were explained to at the time like this. Many companies do not break down if they have offered a all inclusive price. I understand that now because that changes the reason why they package a price in the first place.So to those folks who contact contractors out there maybe ask that question first. Many companies are very busy from what I can see and what I hear. So instead of picking on the working people of our city why don't you just call someone else.DAN AND MONICA

Came for an estimate but they complained that the job was too small. I expected to spend over $20,000! They were also abrupt and cold. Regardless, they promised an estimate. That was the last I heard. Wasted my time. Very unprofessional. I think I dodged a bullet and am counting my blessings.

Hi I liked these folks cause they were always keeping me informedthey acted as designer and supplier. and just on the kitchen jobthey were so much less the the other quote.A few I know have booked you for more work.Great teamThanks George

After receiving a flyer in the mail stating that Monaco does general repairs and renovations I made an appointment with for an estimate for work on foundation, garage and bathroom. The appointment was a no show, no message, no explanation. I decided to reschedule the appointment and was then told that, even though the renovations I needed were listed on their flyer, the work did not interest them and that I should look for a handyman. They wasted my time and were rude in the process.

Finally I can say what a great companyMonaco did our roof as well as new doors and windows. and some exterior cement work and some interlock repairs.I can say they were on time - very respectful of our property.I will be using them for all of my future work.Michael and Giselle

We are really impressed by the Monaco firm.There had been a few leaks in the foundation and Monaco Construction came out gave us a fair price, then we got the work done about 6 weeks later.It has been 2 years now since they did that job.We are getting more work done by them so we thought we should have added this review quite a while back.Clean and upfront we love these guys they are great.Mary and Andrew Ottawa

Monaco Construction was so easy to work with - they were communicative and on time. Lyndon and Youssef were extremely kind, considerate and did a fabulous job on our front steps. We have had a number of compliments on the craftsmanship and design. Thanks so much for the great service - definitely would recommend!
