Little Champ Camp

Little Champ Camp has created magical summer memories for my daughter, helped her learn to swim, and helped her conquer her shyness. I can't thank you enough for all your dedication and positivity!

My son loves this camp. He made me cancel another camp to come back this week. The camp leaders are great and seem to care a lot about their campers. We have come back to WESTACRES for the past 4 summers.

Both my kids hated this camp. They were terribly hot all day long, standing under the sun in the soccer field.The first week, the team messed up their bookings and there was no pool at all.The activities were quite uninteresting for kids above 5.Despite the website saying there were different age groups, my kids who were 7 and 8.5 were the oldest ones. There were just not enough kids to form groups.The following year, I thought maybe I could enroll my other kid who is much younger. She would have been with her peers, and thankfully the pool was up. I also thought that after this horrible first year, they had certainly improved their facilities.I am still waiting for their answer......Still then, I discovered that for this price, there are many other camps in Mississauga with more satisfying offers. For us that's a no.

I'd personally like to thank Ms.Elliot and the Little Champ Camp team for offering my son another amazing summer at camp. It helped him personally grow his communication and social skills. His highlight of the summer was meeting his new favorite NHL player of the New York Islanders Casey Cizikas / getting his picture, autograph and all his personally questions answered. Thanks again LIttle Champ Camp we'll definitely be returning to the best camp around!

My daughter has been going to the Little Champ Camp for the past 2 summers and loves it there. Alexis is a great camp counselor and very accommodating. The outdoor activities are great for the kids. Even though campers go to the church when it rains, I would recommend that the camp consider more indoor activities when the weather is too extreme such as on very hot days when there's a heat warning.

Amazing camp! My son has been going for three years and it's his favourite part of summer. Swim facilities are very nice and clean and the counsellors are awesome.

Little Champ Camp in Clarkson is entirely outdoors with barely the basic consideration given to the safety and security of campers. I was duped into signing up for Little Champ Camp after being told by the Camp Director that there would be three large circus tents for campers to shelter from the elements. I discovered this meant half a dozen BBQ canopies with no walls, which campers remained under during constant thunder and lightning storms. The storms were that bad some days that I kept my son home rather than condemn him to sit under a flimsy canopy all day.For the first two weeks, my son had to change for swimming in one of two portable toilets that were emptied only once a week. During heatwaves with high humidity and temps in the high 30s, these “porta potties” were teeming with flies and the stench of daily use from dozens of campers and camp counsellors; and left open in the evenings and weekends for the general public to use in the park.My emails to Little Champ Camp voicing my concerns and asking for better facilities were mostly dismissed or ignored. I tried to enrol my son in another camp, but there was nowhere local and available. I eventually pulled him from the camp early and lost my money after losing all faith that they could or would make it any safer for kids.At $400 a week, there are plenty of indoor/outdoor camps in Clarkson for around half this price that are run much, much better. Just book early. The teenager camp counsellors do their best with what little they have; and most of them don’t get paid. This just adds to the fact that Little Champ Camp is a blatant rip-off, and was obviously run with a lot more competency in previous years, hence better reviews.

Horrible camp, untrained staff, I have to take my kid out after first week experience. Being outdoor camp they have temp washroom with No water, no tissue/ no soap for kids after using washroom that is unacceptable and unhygienic. They misplace my kid new outfit first day of the camp. They expect kids to be responsible and expert to handle/take care of all the stuff they carry doesn’t not matter how young kids are. I was getting complain every day while we expect them to be an expert and make fun experience for kids. Think twice before you enroll kids to this camp/ do ur research- location 974 McBride Ave

Alexis and little champ camp are a hidden secret in Westacres park. They are so flexible about accommodating summer schedules and keep in touch with parents. We ended up cancelling other camps to do more weeks. The counselors have been good also!

They put my child outside all day in a soccer field today. (Heat warning feels like 38 right now at 4pm can’t imagine how hot it was at noon) my child looked sick when I picked her up I’ve never seen her so red! Activities they provide is very basic (craft and swimming). Not worth the suffering. One good thing is the lady who answered my call gave me a refund with no difficulties.
