STAY AWAY!In early November I took my reliable old Mastercraft mower in because it appeared to have a gas pressure problem, in that when it was not in use the fuel would be syphoned into the air filter, which would drip onto the body and stink up the garage. Other than that, it worked fine.They told me it needed a carb kit and cleaning. Great, do it I said. I picked it up a week or so later at a cost of $147. I didn’t get more than a few kilometers from the shop when I wondered if it was still leaking given how bad the fumes were. The next day I confirmed that it was leaking worse than before, now even while operational.I loaded it into the car and brought it back. I had to call to ask what the status was, and got the distinct impression it had been forgotten, but they called back shortly and said it was ready. They didn’t charge me anything and I left happy, with no apparent leak or smell. It was now late November, so I stored it for winter.I took it out on May 1 and figured I would start it up to make sure it was still fine. There was no leak, but it would start and immediately stop. It was clear that it was just burning the fuel pumped into the chamber by hand priming it, and unable to draw more fuel automatically.Back into the car for trip 3. After a few days they called and said it was ready. They charged me $54 for cleaning the carb and flushing it. What? You literally did that in the fall. I didn’t have my invoice with me, and he claimed I had brought it in August. I thought it had been done in October, but when I checked the original invoice, it showed it was done on Nov. 9, 2021.“You must have had bad gas or something in the tank.” Uh, it has the gas you put in it in November, and it hasn’t been used since, as it was winter. He then said “Well, we only guarantee for 3 months anyway.” Zero customer service and total lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t go back here for anything.

Brought my lawn tractor for service and a problem with my deck and to me the belts were not changed looked used and full of grass from last summer. Also ask to check my lawn tractor the deck was falling of came back with the same problem. Will not recommend bringing your small engine there.

I am absolutely gobsmacked!!! I rented a tractor for the weekend, I was told it was $340 for the rental. I was given 15 hours of use and only used 5.4 hrs...turns out with all of the other additional costs, the bill came to over $600!!! For 5 hours of use!! At no point did anyone mention any additional details. This was definitely the last time I will ever set foot in this place! The attitude of the employees is absolutely terrible.I gave one star because unfortunately you can't choose none!

Great place. Very knowledgeable staff. No pressure. Honest local company with fair prices and great after sale service. What else could you ask for.

After buying a Cub Cadet ride-on there, it never cut right. Adjustment after adjustment never got me a satisfactory cut. Then it started break belts. Most times the belt would lawn for one (or less) cut of my 3/4 acre property. I'd read there was a design issue with the deck on this one and had the deck adjusted half a dozen times, at full hourly costs despite my questions about a faulty design.Finally I was fed up of them taking my money and never fixing the issue. I brought the machine in offered to trade up to a more expensive tractor. The owner made me an offer of 600$ off the list price of new machine in exchange for mine. I thought it was a lousy offer but my grass was getting long. (I later found out that with the 600$ off, it was the same price as that of a major retailer). Then when it came time to pay, they insisted I first pay for the last repair bill. I said no way...like the last half dozen times, they never repaired it...So I walked away from the tractor and never came back to the repair service that I'd been a customer for 20 or so years.l

In the ten years that I been buying or renting from them I never had any problem with their staff or service

I see a lot of negative reviews here….but, my experience with this shop has always been positive. It can’t be easy working in this industry, and sometimes people can have bad days. For myself, I bought a 2022 Cub Cadet Zero Turn from Aylmer Repair. Duane was a great help and very honest about it the product. Since it is made in China, there were a couple of small issues that I discovered after a couple of usages. I contacted Duane and the next day one of his service techs showed up at my house and he fixed it right in my backyard! Great service and the tech was very pro! I appreciated these guys and the work they do.

They charged me a two-day rental (40% price increase), when I was promised a Weekend fee, for returning a tool on Monday (less than 48h later) as the shop was closed on Sunday. Turns out, their contract don't even mention Weekend periods.I hope future clients will receive better client service for, as the only client in the shop, I was still ignored for the first 5 minutes of standing in front of two employees.-2 star for misleading prices and contract-1 star for poor customer service

While I looked at some of the other reviews I felt compelled to write my own. First off I am a very, very, very satisfied customer. It's hard to find a great local family business that still operates with top tier service, sales and customer service. This is the only place I purchase my outdoor power tools. You can't get the same service or actual skill level at the big box stores. Another novel idea, they actually sell parts and provide service for the products they sell, unlike the big box stores. I am an echo brand purchaser and have purchased three (3) major pieces of outdoor power equipment from them. From the owner to the personal at the counter to the manager, Duane, well done my friends, well done...
