Sobeys Fort Erie

Today I called Sobeys in Fort Erie, I asked to speak to the Floral department (not knowing if they had one or not). I had made some previous calls to some Florists in the area of Fort Erie and Ridgeway (I am not from this area). Some places didn’t answer and the one that did answer was rude to me on the phone. Long story short I tried Sobeys and was directed to Lisa in the floral department. She was so kind and helpful on the phone helping me choose some flowers for delivery. I so much enjoyed working with her over the phone I had to call and thank her again after my initial call. I just wanted to leave this review because it was important to me. I think Sobeys should list on google as a florist as well so it’s easier to find when searching for one in the Fort Erie area. Much thanks again Lisa for your professional customer service.Angela

Had a ball in here! While prices overall are higher than the states, the sales made it worthwhile! Even the store brand was quality. They have ketchup chips here!

Was at Sobeys fort Erie yesterday and just wanted to express my appreciation to the cashier Mona. She was so polite, she went above and beyond packing our groceries and even putting them in the buggy for us. It was so nice to see someone enjoy their work and do such a great job! Mona deserves praise ❤️

Fruits always fresh, great baked goods and always has my 1% Fairlige milk. Great and friendly staff.

This location is always clean and well stocked. The layout makes everything easy to locate. The staff are cheerful and helpful. The selection of Beer is good too.

Great selection, full grocery, flower shop,and deli. Store is clean, friendly employees, good hours, but very pricey.

Sobeys is very expensive to shop. Some items I can get cheaper at my corner store. They raised the prices when they went 24 hours and when the hours changed back to normal the prices stayed the same if not higher.

I would generally give our FE Sobey’s a solid 4.5, but a business is a reflection of its employees.Twice now, my husband and myself, on separate occasions, have gotten the same cashier. Not only does she not bag our groceries, she makes no attempt to help either. She puts the receipt down with the groceries and starts putting the next customer’s groceries through.Beware of what lane you choose folks or your bagging skills are about to be put to the test. Talk about getting flustered.Not a pleasant shopping experience for either of us, meaning myself and my husband.

I went in to buy lunch to take to a visit with family. At the deli I was looking at the wraps for one with no cheese as one of us is lactose intolerant. I asked the deli server if they had any and she said they didn’t but without hesitation she offered to make one up for me. I was pleasantly surprised because I know that would not happen at other deli counters and would be huffed at if requested. Kim’s service was exceptional in my opinion and very much appreciated.

Nice little store. Friendly staff but very laid back and slow. No one seems to care that you're waiting in lines halfway down the aisles or it takes 15+ minutes to check out. This has been a problem EVERY SINGLE TIME I've gone! Today took me almost 1/2 hr to check out because I waited in 1 of the only 2 lines open, for over 10 minutes, just to get to the front and see a tiny sign saying no alcohol sold at this register. I got it doesn't matter where I put it no one sees it" as a response. Then I got to go to the other line for another 10+ minute wait!! Management is nowhere to be found. Last time I asked for them
