Horrible experience. System stopped working a year ago. Various sensors stoped responding. Multiple calls to technical support that provided hours of turn off, turn on advise. Finally ending with a “wait a cpl days to see if the cell service gets better” and a charge of $20 for a panel battery that resulted in annoyed RCMP member calling and still didn’t fix the issue.Fast forward to calling to cancel the service, as it no longer works, and lo and behold there’s a service technician that will come out now. He can fix the panel, but If I want to continue using the secondary panel I have to pay $1600 or add 3 years to my contract. Or I can forgo the secondary panel (the sole reason I renewed with fluent) and get the panel replaced.When I explain they should have offered this a year ago, I was told I should have asked for it………now they want my to pay out the remainder of the contract at %100 to cancel. Even though the contract clearly states the “termination fee” is %80 of the remaining contract.So in closing. You have multiple choices when choosing an alarm company, I would suggest considering the other ones.

My past experience with FLUENT this Last week has been horrible! Imagine my surprise to talk to a technician today (7/8/2023) who was compassionate and informative. She is a gem. So grateful for her.

Fluent sales agent lied to us and made us sign a false 5-year contract; we were promised in writing a free equipment upgrade or a lower monthly plan. Fluent asks for a 4 year contract renewal for equipment upgrade at-cost or a slightly lower monthly plan. Telus and other providers are significantly cheaper (half the price). Fluent customer service and Retention department are terrible (the Retention agent hung-up our call) and their call-back is 1-3 days. I do not recommend Fluent.

We have been using Fluent Home security system since 2019 and we are very much satisfied with their equipment and services. Their tech guy who came today to our house to install additional cameras is really awesome. He is very kind, helpful, very patient with all our inquiries… and he is very much knowledgeable as he’s been with the company for more than 10 years. We highly recommend Fluent. We have never had a problem with this company.

I would have given a higher rating in 2022 when we were not experiencing problems. In early December we had a camera system put in by Fluent It worked fine for the month of December. Then they stopped working the first week of January and two months later, no cameras working. It took forever to get a technician to come out. Finally February 3rd one comes out. The technician can’t get them going. He said he would be back the following week with a new piece of equipment to solve the issue. We haven’t heard anything from Fluent. We installed the cameras because were gone away for a couple of months. Thought we could keep an eye on our place for the time we are away. NOPE.! We’ve had to incur a cost of someone checking in regularly but the most frustrating thing is NO RESPONSE from FLUENT!! We are heading back soon to our home. I will be asking for a refund on our camera system and looking to get out of a two year contract I signed with the purchase of the cameras. NOT IMPRESSED!

Did not honour contract with my parents, continued to charge them even after they requested to terminate service due to the services rendered not functioning appropriately for them, kept sending them threatening emails, very unpleasant customer service agents in interactions over the phone and email. The original service technician who came to install was WONDERFUL, but every other interaction with this company since has been a gong show.

The technician was very knowledgeable with my system components and I was up and running quickly. He guided me through a few trouble shooting steps and we quickly returned the system back to normal. This was the best customer service call I’ve made in a long time!
