Galaflex was our las stop while visiting flooring stores in Richmond. I'm so glad we didn't skip it because we probably could have purchased Mirage flooring in other places, but it was Peter who made all the difference. I can't tell you how hard working this person is, how knowledgeable and informative and how much his assistance made all the difference while installing our new floors. His recommendation of an installer was also beyond valuable because the installer is a genius. The quality of the product we purchased from Galaflex is superior and the experience with Peter at Galaflex could not be overlooked here. We are extremely pleased with the price, quality and customer service at Galaflex. There are so many flooring stores in that area, and I am so glad we stumbled on Galaflex!! I shopped around to compare prices on the brand of carpet I wanted. Galaflex had the cheapest price by far. The installation price was one of the cheaper quotes I received.I had new carpet installed in my house back in 2011 and that installation job was terrible. I had on going issues with wrinkling carpet that no amount of stretching in later years solved. I assumed at the time that this was a standard installation job that took about 5 hours. Hence my desire to have new carpet in 2020.Just watching the 4 man team lead by Tony from Galaflex, I realized how band the installation job was back in 2011.The Galaflex team took two full days to install the carpet. They took great care of my home, taping the corners of the walls and stairwell to make sure there was no damage. Clothes in our closets were wrapped up in plastic to protect them. Hanging light fixtures were marked with bright green tape so that they didn't forget they were there and bang into them accidentally. The job was meticulous and not rushed.They produced a lovely transition from the carpet to my existing hardwood flooring without the need of an extra transition strip between the two. That alone was a fantastic job!The edges of my carpet up the stairs were beautifully finished. Corners where the stairs turn 90 degrees are carefully finished. This is where I noticed an incredible difference between the 2011 installation and the Galaflex installation.The team spent a lot of time tracking down flooring squeaks to try and eliminate as many as they could. The time they spent on the little details really made the job top notch.The overall job is lovely and extremely well done. It was worth the two days to get it done so well. I highly recommend Tony and his installation team. Thank you to Norman in the store for the good communication and excellent pricing.

I am very happy with my new entire basement floor. Thanks to Norman Lee who listened to what/how I wanted. He was very sincere from the beginning and guided me very well in detail.The installers (Wayne and Shell) ,who were referred by Norman, did a great job for me. It is very nicely done.

Make sure you go to Galaflex and ask for Norman for all of your flooring needs! I am so glad I found this shop while I was browsing for laminate flooring. Norman was very friendly, professional, and knowledgable, coordinating everything smoothly from beginning to end of the project. He kept in regular communication with me and never hesitated to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. Galaflex offered a great price and selection compared to all of the other flooring shops I visited in Richmond and truly cut above the rest in both customer service, and in quality of construction. We went in quickly because we wanted to check if they had floor sheets. We didn’t see any so we went out, but person there came out after us to make sure we were helped before we left. That’s excellent customer service! Thanks!

I was on my way to revisit a flooring store quite ready to place my order with them. I happened to stumble across Galaflex and dropped in to have a look. I am extremely happy I did. Norman, the flooring consultant, is very knowledgeable and friendly. He patiently listened to my needs and answered all my questions about flooring. His calculation of the square footage of flooring was particularly impressive: it is different from the others yet it is so accurate, saving me the trouble of returning the spares. Galafex carries a good, high quality selection at very competitive prices. The one I picked has the highest sound rating I could find amongst the flooring stores I have visited. Tony, the floor specialist referred by Norman, did a great job (800 sf) that was finished within a day to meet a very tight deadline. Both Noman and Tony are very professional, helpful and work with their customers’ interest in mind. I highly recommend Galaflex and these two outstanding flooring professionals.
