Always a great meal in nice atmosphere. A must try if you visit Ottawa area. My favorite is the grilled of blackened halibut. $$$

This is one of the few places in town where I can get GF fish and chips as well as GF sushi. The sushi is made fresh as you order and it's sooooo good. The sweet potato one is my absolute fav and the sashimi is also very good.

Lapointe Seafood Grill & Sushi
I had my usual sesame salmon (which I crave!!) and my husband had the mixed grill special this time. This is our favourite restaurant in Ottawa, period, and they really know how to cook fish with exquisite sauces. I savour every bite, every time. It is very fair prices for the quality of their food. Love this place!

This place was a nice surprise. Good seafood but at a bit more of a premium for cost than expected. However the flavours did not disappoint, all the dishes were well assembled and the chef has rotating specials which keep the newness of the menu fresh. Will be going back as they have a great variety and also execute the sides really effectively.

Don’t go. If you’re not white Canadian, don’t bother. Worst experience ever. I ordered to pick up, arrived on time, 3 waitress by the door didn’t even look at us, one that looked like the most senior by the cashier was complaining to others, while I stand 2 foot from her asking for an attention. Finally I was able to talk to one of the lady by the bar. The other client, a white Canadian male, got greeted immediately right on his arrival, while no one even apologized for keeping us unattended and ignored as we were standing there. Literally I was standing right in front of the 3 ladies by the cash machine, while they did an excellent job to completely ignore me.Don’t normally leave negative comment, but sorry I won’t take this one. My order was over $70, two dishes and a small chowder. I won’t go back no matter what.

Not recommended at all. So overpriced and the quality is not good. I ordered a lobster roll and it comes with fry and coleslaw with pickles. The sandwich taste bad. I have tried lobster rolls in several different places and this is the worst one. The vegetables are not fresh I can’t even eat them. I tried to ask server and show her the vegetables. She told us this is not a big deal because it’s only for decoration not to eat. How ridiculous! Since when coleslaw is only for decorations? SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE TO EAT!

Range of fish/seafood offerings. Seared scallops in citrus dressing with nuts, orange bits, on a bed of arugula was fresh, tasty, and light. Blueberry cocktail was a nice way to kick off the weekend!

The food was so delicious. I had the chefs special with three different seafood. They substituted my potatoes for extra vegetables and it was so good! Also got the shrimp cocktail. The sauce was perfectly spicy and the shrimp were large.
