Mediocre breakfast, inflated prices.Go across the street for better food at 1/2 the cost

Worst hotel I have ever been to. They have no parking, so we had to park a couple streets away and PAY $26 extra for that even thought at the front desk they told us it was only $18. When we finally made it to our $240 room, it was lacking many amenities that you would've normally been given automatically at other hotels. For example, there were no glasses, in the room, no towel rack to hang hand towels on, not enough toilet paper, no pen or paper or even a map of the hotel to figure out how to get to the pools, courtyards etc... Also, our fridge wasn't even plugged in when we arrived so our drinks weren't even cold until the next day when we were leaving. The plastic bag to put in the ice bucket had a stain on it. The bathroom floor had a weird stain on it and so did one of our beds. To make things worse, the alarm went off at 6am even though we did not set it and it was hard to figure out how to turn it off. The entire room was dingy and old fashioned. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone.

We stopped in here to eat a couple times during our stay. There are a few places to shop here as well as places to eat a meal. The drawback I found was the places closed fairly early but I do understand this is in Downtown Halifax. Still find cheaper meals in here than in other places nearby.

The worst Hotel I stay for now.A/C and heater didn't work, bathroom sink was clogged, fridge was broken and didn't work, bath towels had hair that didn't belong to us, bathroom fan is not super efficient and we end up full of fog. The car park is a public car park very far from the hotel. The upholstery in the bedroom is falling in places, in the corridor there is a strong smell of cigarettes and lots of dust in the bedroom. WIFI is ineffective. We were complaining several times always cordially because we did not see the first time. One of the receptionists was very rude.

Not much in the way of stores, but the Hotel, gym, and Boston Pizza help keep this place alive. Key part of the downtown link" pedal and tunnel system."

Trendy and a bit pricy. Parking could be a problem on a busy day. Caters to a niche market but fun to look around.

Looked around and saw plenty of kool stuff Halifax to buy but the price was just a little higher than I thought reasonable. But I've been called frugal more than once. Nice location right next a sitting parkette on Halifax harbour. Got my hair cut and that was not inexpensive either.
