Beta Nightclub Waterloo (Closed)

Abissmal service.Waiters told me they got paid 6 dollars an hour. LIES.After tipping them they refused me service. More LIES. (Primarily Heather)After confronting the manager, she blew me off. She said and I quote, I'm not dealing with this." Poor service.All I was looking for was a "Sorry".After paying a cover fee AND tipping half the waiters

Last night I went to Beta nightclub and the bouncer confiscated my e-cig but told me I could get it back after.I offered him to put it in my car but he refused and told me i could get it back before I leave. When i came back the bouncer said they threw every object they had confiscated in the garbage !!I hate place where people are not honest which is why I'm never going to beta nightclub again !!!!

It's a lot of fun the first few times. Sound could be better.

To be honest Beta is an impressive club considering where it is. Has had some amazing acts roll though like Steve Angello, Tiesto, Markus Schulz and Grath Emery. Has an amazing atmosphere and the lights and sound here are top class. If you are out for a good time and feel like dancing to electro or house i don't there there is a better place within 2 hours drive of Beta. Glasses on, glow sticks cracked and time for some fun!

They don't care about customers, this was for a paid event and they can't even setup a organized line to get in, leaving this mess on the road

Meh. Used to have better artists. Not everything needs to be in line with project 46.... Pricey but the dance floor is the best in town. Now just play me some dirty beats!! And let me wear my damn hat

Probably one of the better night clubs in the area. 1 star rating is for the afterparty event for ever after on the Sunday - 1 hr+ lineup. It was clear the staff was looking for people to pay $20-40 to pass the line. I wonder if bouncers claim that money on their taxes.Bring ear plugs you will need them, the sound system is amazing, drinks are reasonably priced.

I loved the experience! I would like to see Beta support Local artist and Labels at least once a month! there is a lot of talented local artist out there like myself and a few others between toronto and Waterloo that are signed to various Record Labels and or own our own Record labels. Some guys and girls to watch out for Tim Penner, Jay Bird, Tony Smart, Amber long, Manson Batch, Dj jace we are in touch with the industry and we know the music just a thought! :) see you soon at a nightclub near you!

Beta has some of the Sickest line ups in KW for Artists. Great Lights, Lasers, People. Staff are super Friendly. EDM EDM. Fast Lines. Sick Place to be on Fridays and Saturdays with out a question. But No Hats ???

Sad to see what has happened to Waterloo's former #1 hotspot. What used to be a clean, well kept nightclub that brought in world-class talent is now a breeding ground for the filth of Waterloo. The amount of over intoxicated individuals as well as the sheer obliviousness of security to what is being passed around on the floor and in plain sight is concerning and overwhelming. The quality of sound and variety of music has degraded to a pithy stereo playing rough-cut Top 40 hits. Drinks are watered down, overpriced and you're lucky to even receive what you ordered, let alone your change. This club does NOT offer free water, and you will be given an extremely hard time if you ask. Beta is a complete letdown nowadays, but for some reason I keep going in hopes that they'll bring back good music and the vibe will change.
