re: plumber Emanuel: Overbilling, overconfident, burned time by writing an excessively lengthy report, scared the hell out of me, an agent for a suite owner in a high rise, by implying he would bill me for travel all the way from Coquitlam to Vancouver and back despite that he was doing a job for the SAME high rise on the SAME day, tried to pull the wool over my eyes by not adressing the issues: I told him during a telephone briefing the day before the appointment what the symptoms were and my theory of the cause. His immediate response was to blame an item that was only indirectly related to the cause but not the main cause of the symptoms. I was brutally honest with him about skirting the isdues and I guess it hurt his ego. We could have saved his whole appointment the next day and saved alot of money if with his 17 yrs experience he had asked me the right questions for troubleshooting the issue during our telephone briefing. He brought an ineffective tool to the job, and while on the job he got hung up on an item that was irrelevant to the job, he took pictures of that item's condition and argued something that was logically defeatable, thus adding to the time burn. The condo building keeps his company Werner Smith very busy, but I don't know wether he is the sole owner of this plumbing outfit or just one of their sub-contractors, and sure I'm scratching my head as to why an out of town Coquitlam based plumber needs to service a Vancouver high rise.

Plumber came at 1530. Costed me ~$450 for a plumber to figure out my laundry hose was leaking in 10minutes, then proceeded with another 1.5-2 hours, to change a laundry hose! Checked with other places after I saw the huge bill, they say it should’ve been done with less than an hour. Plumber was there cause he didn’t have the supplies... standstill while on my dollar. Then he leaves another half hour to “write a report” or go take a look at another unit in my building cause I overheard him talking to my building manager. The “report” i received was 3-4 points. Writing a report should not be part of the bill. This company totally cheats customers of their money. When disputing this, the company says the plumber went over time. Plumber made no mention that this was overtime. And The service was to find and stop the leak. Caps would’ve been fine if I knew beforehand they were going to charge me this much. Over a laundry hose?! Rookie mistake. Won’t be using this company ever again.

Great team of individuals here! Looking forward to using them when a mechanical, HVAC or plumbing issue comes up at our company in Coquitlam.

Installed new larger hot water tank, A/C unit and upgraded all ventilation at our business over the last 6 years very expertly with added advice on preventative maintenance and upkeep to ensure they continue to work well in the long term.

If your driver's are going to drive in company branded trucks, maybe inform them not to drive like selfish a$$hats. One of your trucks came to a complete stop and blocked two lanes of traffic just so they could make their turn.

Their repsonse and fix times were quick and the technician was knowlegable and diligent. Top notch service.

An HVAC technician came to service my heat pump that wasn’t producing heat. He was very knowledgeable and figured out the problem in a quick and timely manner. After it’s repair it has been working great ever since. There pricing is fair and they’re technician was very polite and friendly. Thank you Werner Smith.
