Princess Cruises

Charged our credit card twice, which shouldn’t have happened since we paid online. Credit card company told us to call Princess after confirming it was double charged. Had to sit on hold for hours to get it rectified, was told it would take 15 business days to refund the second charge “if that’s what happened,” which is ridiculous for a $5600 mistake they made. Then, call got disconnected while on hold. Had to call back again, on hold for over 40 minutes, go through everything all over again, then was told they don’t see a second charge and can’t correct it. Had to call credit card company again to get it fixed. Customer service for Princess is frustrating and absolutely terrible. Spend your vacation money elsewhere.

Royal Princess departing 5/6/23 round trip Seattle to Alaska was a disappointment. They were extremely late since since day one and throughout the entire trip which caused missed excursions. The excursions department choose to provide no explanations/ownership, no compassion and no apologies. Poor quality management. While I’m sure causes were uncontrollable, they chose not control what they could to make the negative impact on their guest minimal. Ruined my bucket list first time in Alaska moment :-(It’s a 50/50 hit and miss with food and same for crew members service skills.Medallion app is a joke right now. Has potential but useless if you are not ordering drinks or food from within your stateroom.

The worse cruise ship in the world as far as quality of food and cooking the steak supposed to be the best from Crown Grill the so call specialist steak house with extra 39 dollars a person that is the worse steak in my 40-50 years life time u can’t even cut well with a steak knife and u need to chew like hell the or the steak from regular restaurant of slow cook prime rib and u have to spit it out every bite because of tendon or chewy stuff in between meat and the meat taste terrible and make u sick also they serve the green pineapple. Melon or fruit not quite ready to eat It is not only happening yo me same bad food it happened to my sister in law group that they took Princess cruise a year ago so ultimately Princess no good especially I just finished my Silversea trip cr you se several day ago from Iceland the food is almost compare to day or night and or from heaven to hell

The personnel on ship worked good . 5 stars for them. Thanks to our room attendant and servers.Loading on the ship was simply chaotic and disorganized. Overall an unpleasant journey because our luggage was lost and was loaded on a DIFFERENT ship, we were headed to Alaska in short shorts and tees. When we arrived in Juneau I voiced my complaint for tenth time that this is outrageous I was given a $100 cabin credit but only this time and it is out of our generous courtesy" - front desk attendant.For check out we got our passports collected a few days in advance and were told to come back at 8am on disembarkation day for an easy collection. Instead there was a huge hold up

This was the first time cruising with Princess. We did an Alaskan cruise on the Emerald Princes. We stopped at Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway a brief visit to Tracy Fjord and Victoria. The. Food was good. The mattresses were comfortable. The enternatment was Fantastic! Alex did an amazing job as cruise director. We did an excursion in each port except Victoria were we decided to just explore by foot. Overall we really loved the cruise. I would recommend this cruise line.

Princess has outstanding staff aboard the Grand Princess, but they need serious help with their food onboard! Our Alaska glacier cruise was extraordinary, the hotels on the Cruisetour land excursion and train were great. For the price, the food should have been exceptional, too.

Very disappointed in our 28 day repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Auckland on the Grand Princess last fall. I paid on my VISA in advance for excursions during the cruise. Our excursion to Fiji was cancelled due to weather. Total cost was $152.18 CAD. I was reimbursed eventually after returning home & launching a claim with VISA last December. On April 25th I received a VISA charge of $126.12 for this same excursion. Upon inquiring why this was happening again, I was told that VISA made a decision to split the charge with me paying the majority of it. I don’t understand this and as a result I will not be booking anymore cruises with Princess.

Alaska cruise 2023... gantastic....

We normally Cruise carnival but this princess Cruise was also very good. Staff was good the meals were very good and well staffed. I would put it right up there with the carnival Cruise lines

Loved our cruise,but so many kinks with their medallion app, feel like I invested at least 40 hrs trying to book things, deal with mistakes on our bil while on board. Exhausting
