Family and Children’s Services Niagara

I hate them. They control my life. I’m not even allowed to have sleepovers and I’m almost 18. I hope they all get what they deserve. They are fake. And ruined my life since I was young.

Worst CAS EVER ! BABY SNATCHERS THAT LOVE STEALING INDIGENOUS BABYS. The workers here don't care for families at all. My daughter was abused in care and we never even got an apologie! Now my daughter has a permanent scar on her back and a toe with no nail that will never grow back.

This is a terrible organization that is in need of a overhaul. Some of these workers shouldn't be around children, never mind traumatized children. They use their power to hurt the parents rather than help the children. Its very sad their views to conquer and divide. Rather than giving the parents tools to be successful parents. These families need workers that have heart & empathy. I haven't heard a good word about this organization...yet we have no choice but to hand over our child to them. The worst day of my life. When alls I want to do is protect my child & they are trying to keep me from even seeing him. Its breaking my heart & that's what they want. They want to break you..does that sound like an organization that should be named Family & Children Services?

Have had visits for the last 6 months and never been told any concerns, always been told we're doing great with our son and with all the other supports we have.. first incident and they take him and say they NOW have concerns. Where's the fight to keep the promise that was made to keep our family together?!?! Our worker not even trying to fight for the truth, they just don't want to do the paper work it seems... my son is 6 months old and when we get our visit, he doesn't even recognize us... his development is going down the hole because we NECER had sthis many issues at his appointments. Now he has 5 things wrong with him since he's been in Cas care, he has a blister that looks like a grease blister and the foster family say they don't know how it happened, and he's still there! So when we give the true explanation of what happened and yous choose to disregard all the times we were told were doing great then turn around and say you have concerns that you CANT EVEN TELL ME WHAT THEY ARE!! So we can prove to you that we're not who you think we are.

I'm sure there are workers who truly mean the best. Some in the past were very helpful with full consideration of my childs well being. Prior to today I could have easily said this service is even generous to families. However, one worker made a strong misjudgment that would leave my family scarred for many years to follow, and another family suffered at her hand as published in the news. There's no way to say avoid these guys, if they're coming for you then they're coming. I just pray that in the future all workers will use every resource they can to help families, honestly and lawfully, if its within the best interest of the child's welfare.

Worst CAS ever. Josh Vandyke should be ASHAMED of himself. What worker or person for that matter. Calls a parent asking them if they want their child a d go as far as to even tell them how he will be moving said child closer to mom so she can work on getting her home. To only then called 2 to 3 weeks later to serve court papers. That state NO ACCESS to Mom a d for.baby to be adopted out?!?!?!?! That's Sick. They are ALL SICK workers every single one. Only good ones a d that's a MAYBE huge MAYBE is the access workers. That's it. Delete my review AGAIN. I will ALWAYS put it back up. Wouldnt even accommodate a weekend visit when mom works monday to Friday. Wouldnt even let her say good bye to baby. Then ask for her help with adoption papers?? Jokes I tell ya. If only our so called Government would do there jobs and make sure CAS workers are doing job right. Cause 8 would bet 1000$ 90% of them are NOT. And are out to destroy families.

If I could, I’d give it NO stars! Fought for a year for my last daughter, bent over backwards, did everything they asked, I had 3 days until my daughter was supposed to come home to me, Covid happened. I couldn’t see her for 5 months, come September everything changed and I was now “not able to have her in my care because history was repeating itself and I couldn’t make the “right” choices for my daughter” why? Cause I was of LEGAL age and had NO children in my care so I drank in the summer?! On top of not being able to see her for 5 months? Ok.

Had a horrible experience with this organization they did nothing to help me during a kinship I was involved with . They should be ashamed of their organization doing minimal to help at risk youth.
