I am a routin Keg Customer, and I tried many keg restaurant. Food Presentation is always reasonable, and franchise standard, When it comes to Keg. Its all about RIBSTEAK and the tenderness of that meat.....Unfortunatly tonight I had to try the newmarket location and below is my RatingService 2/5Food presentation : 2/5Environment : 3/5Food quality : 2/5Manager problem solving skills : 1/5So Average rating is 10/5. = 2Reasons:Presentation : weak. I ordered cesar salad without telling me they split the salad and served at table. The kitchen used old nd thick lettuce leaves, very sour dressing and few parmegano slice.Food quality was below keg standards. Meat was not coocked properly, vegtables on side was not bad.I mentioned the issue to the waiter and asked for the bill, she passed the message to the manager and manager appeard on my desk. Start the converdation with : i saw you had your food" so how can I assist you.This is not about why I had my food. I had it because I ordered the food.I was happy ? NO"

We had a take out anniversary dinner at home. My husband has had a stroke and is unable to come to the restaurant. Our dinner was outstanding, hot and the billie miner pie was to die for. And free I might add since it was our Anniversary. Food was as good as eating in at the restaurant. Can't say enough. Thank you Keg for the wonderful meal.

Went last night for celebratory meal. Server was top professional & very attentive. Half of the food, however, was so tasteless compared to the same items we have enjoyed numerous times at Scarborough, Ajax & Oshawa locations. The grilled shrimp was very bland, as were the basically uncooked side vegetables. The escargot was amazing, as always. Total showstopper. The bread was delicious but the butter had strange seasonings which we felt were unnecessary. Ice cream & lobster tails were was amazing. One of the steaks was very bland, the other tasty. Thank you to the wonderful server but we’ll make the trek to Ajax next time instead

It’s safe to say that all Keg locations provide incredible service and hospitality, but I was blown away on our visit on Mothers Day 2023. We had booked a reservation for 8:00pm, however, the table before us had not left the table until it was nearing 9pm. The staff that evening was extremely accommodating, they had comped our entire bar bill due to the wait and were extremely compassionate about the situation. Our server was friendly, outgoing and kind. I wish I had gotten names to personalize this review but I am sure every worker at The Keg Newmarket shares the same incredible work ethics.

It was a great time spent with my family. The food was fresh and worth it. The Calamari wasn't fresh and I hope this is a one time thing. Desert was on the house.

We arrived and the girls at the front were very friendly. Our waitress Kim arrived right away. Kim was very attentive , she was outstanding. We had one issue with a steak, we decided not to send it back as we were full from the appetizers. Kim offered to get us another one, we declined. The manager arrived and offered deserts for the inconvenience. Kim was pleasant and very nice. It’s so nice to go to a restaurant where the waiters give great service instead of giving mediocre service and expect a big tip. We will be back to this location.

Got to the door and they told us we needed reservations. This from a place that never took reservations in the past. Anyway they were able to seat us. It was super busy but the staff was very attentive. Of course the amazing bread was served within minutes and it was hard not to eat it all. For appetizers we ordered escargot. Amazing. And the cauliflower crisp bites which were fabulous. They have many vegetarian options on the menu. I ordered the vegetarian meatloaf. It looked fantastic but not really a fan of the taste. My partner had the bacon wrapped steak and enjoyed it. My only complaint was the the music was a bit on the loud side for conversation. But you can not be the keg for food quality and amazing service.

Visited this location without reservation. We had a great dinner on the lounge. My wife had steak and lobster. I had the peppercorn steak. The steaks were perfectly. Trinity was very attentive and provided great service.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Newmarket
I ordered the salmon with seasoned vegetables. I received only red peppers. They were barely cooked and cut into large pieces (as in photo). My husband also mostly received peppers but with two zucchini pieces and one mushroom. My plate was $40 his was $58. Horrible to receive a meal of veggie side of just red peppers.My husband asked for his steak rare. One side was well done and one side was rare. He did bring it up to the server but he decided to not send it back. We are not one of those people who complain a lot.We also told the server twice that we were celebrating my husbands birthday. We receive no free cake slice. Every time I’ve been there for a birthday there is free cake. Even after the server told us to “save room for dessert” we received nothing. Drinks were decent. Except for the Keg Cesar, that was mediocre. Calamari great and salmon great. Everything else sucked. I will not go back. There are so many other great restaurants in newmarket with better food and better prices.
