Price of gas isn't posted the on pump and the payment system is too complicated. Won't be going back

Why is it $.03 more than the going rate in Calgary right now. Costco here we come!

after waiting in line, have to go io a central machine to stand in line to enter which pump at and how much fuel to pump. Than back to your vehicle to fill up. Then back to central machine to wait in line again to obtain receipt for transaction, wile others waiting to get gas.

It takes a little time to get used to a card lock gas station many people don't understand , because the card reader is not on the pump it's beside the pump on a pole that looks like a telephone booth you have to put your UFA card in first then you put your bank card in and the number of the pump then you can start pumping gas each pump has two numbers so be aware of the nozzle that you're using. After you're done pumping gas you have to put your UFA card back in to the card reader so you can get your receipt and it tells you how much you paid for gas and the liters you were sold that's why the pump does not have a price per liter or how much money is going in it's only telling you how many liters you are buying. Also you need to know that the machines seem like they're old and worn so sometimes it doesn't read your bank card . That happened to me on my first time there I was going to give up but then on the fourth try I used the card reader that was in between the diesel pumps and it worked on the first try . After knowing these things your experience will be much easier and quicker.

Read the other reviews if you haven't been here before - it's a cardlock station, not a regular gas station, and you need to know how everything operates. Gas price fluctuates, but is often significantly cheaper than most other stations, possibly even Costco (and with far less line-up). As stated in other reviews, the gas price doesn't include GST, so be aware of that if you are checking Gas Buddy for prices. It isn't always cheaper, and the pump doesn't tell you the price until after you have filled up.My review is for the gas only - haven't been into the store during business hours yet, but the 24 X 7 operation of the cardlock pumps is a huge bonus along with the often-cheap prices.Make sure you check the pump signs when you go in, as the first two islands are diesel (the sign also indicated that they have DEF). Also, it says this on the side of the pump, but it's easy to miss - you have to lift the lever to start gas flowing (some of you old timers may remember this as standard on gas pumps years ago :>).Update November 17, 2022: Went by last night, and they seemed to be out of gas. Everything seemed to work fine until I tried to actually pump the gas - the pump wouldn't activate when you squeezed the handle. Other people were there with the same issue on other pumps. Frustrating to waste time trying.

UFA sts it is cheaper - but you never know until after you pump - the last 2 times the gas has been 166.9 @ UFA where as the other stations are sitting at 141... thought I was getting a deal... NOPE! Careful when you fuel!

I always use UFA when I can. Great place to fill up if you pull a big travel trailer like I do
