The Montessori Room

I'm just so excited that I found The Montessori Room. I have a one year old grandson and I research toys endlessly, especially educational toys but if you're like me, that research can be time consuming and exhaustive. I feel like the research part has been done for me by the wonderful team at the Montessori Room and all I have to do is pick and I can't go wrong! Not only that, the website is so well organized and easy to navigate, the follow-up emails confirm order, address and delivery and the items arrived in one day in perfect condition. Communication was friendly and responsive and the best part? It feels great to support a local business with a huge selection of Canadian made items... Thank-you, Thank-you! I've found the" store for me..."

We purchased the Pikler triangle and slide/rock wall last spring for our early learning program. The customer service was top notch and it felt great supporting a Canadian company. We love our climber and slide/rock wall. It is made with such a high degree of quality and it looks just as good months later as it did when we first purchased it. Assembly was easy with the support of a video when needed. Customer service was also top notch with prompt and thorough replies to my questions.

I am so happy with all of my purchases from The Montessori Room. The delivery was super quick, the customer service was great, and the products are great quality. I am grateful to have a Montessori shop in the GTA that offers such great programming, resources and products.Their Montessori at Home program is also excellent. It is thoroughly prepared, loaded with helpful tips and information and yet easy to follow for those new to Montessori.Highly Recommend!

Highly recommend this Canadian shop!! We got a pikler triangle (and ramp) from them for our little one. Customer service was incredible. I made a mistake in my order, so I emailed them and they fixed it for me within 24h. They also checked in with us after we received the order. Shipping was quick. The triangle was very easy to assemble and we’re very happy with the quality and design. It looks beautiful and can be easily folded so it doesn’t take up much space when not in use. Our 8 month old loves standing supported on it and loves crawling on the ramp.

I bought one of each playdough kit for my kids (aged 4 and 6) and they continuously go back to these kits and want to make new creations. The cases that the pieces come in make it really easy for them to put everything away properly and independently - they love how everything has it's place. Any activity that keeps them quiet, doesn't create mess, and isn't a screen is welcome in our house. I'm going to order more of these for gifts in the future. We chose the local pick up option and our order was processed quickly and pickup was painless to organize.

Awesome store with awesome products. They went way above and beyond reasonable expectations to help me pick up my order in time for Christmas, and are so friendly in the store. Definitely an amazing place to purchase great quality toys!

Excellent customer service! I bought a product here 2 years ago and only recently had a small issue with it. I sent them a quick note and they responded immediately, investigated the situation, and promptly sent a replacement. Much appreciated!

Super friendly staff, good variety of good quality baby toys.They helped me pick the right gift for a 10 months old baby. They even rapped the gift without any additional cost. I will be back!

So I wanted to plug this awesome small business in Ontario.I love their attention to detail, and customer service. I bought my kiddo a “Toddler kitchen set” which has an assortment of toddler-appropriate hand-picked kitchen tools, from a Montessori teacher. It’s really going to be fun for my kid to unpack at Christmas. And the tools are real items - just small and handy for little ones along with some “safe for toddlers” knives.I also bought a great play dough tool set with wooden tools that our daycare also has. I like them better than the flimsy plastic tools we got with a commercial set.They sent emails detailing how to teach a toddler how to use each tool after purchase, and also an email with a play dough recipe to go with the play dough tools.They double checked our address so as to avoid any shipping issue. And they checked in after I received the items.I love supporting somewhere other than Amazon but I don’t always know what place to support.Anyways - just a plug for this place. I have no connection with them other than a happy customer.
