Arkell Walk-In Clinic

My mother is in her 90s and her medical care is as important as it is for all of us, but there is more vulnerability that comes with age. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the comprehensive care, compassion, and level of professionalism that we have received from the very kind people at Arkell Walk-in Clinic. All during Covid when my mother's doctor was very unavailable, we relied heavily on the very attentive staff at Arkell. .They took on extra work and intervened at times calling her doctor to act when there were severe health concerns being left neglected.. Always courteous, gentle natured and welcoming...and available! 10 stars for this place. Thank you so much!!

I have concern about their IT department keeping your private information safe. Poorly run clinic.I filled in all the appropriate forms at the very start of a new doctor accepting patients. I followed instructions to the letter, and not to contact them to find out where I am on the wait list as they are very busy". After 6 months wait

wanted to pass along my disappointment on my sons visit to your clinic today . He is 23 and is an adult but still wanted to let you know how he was treated or should say not treated.  He came in late morning to see if he could get stitches (your website says you do stitches) he had a workplace accident, his head and face were hit by an object at work. He had a goose egg on his forehead , broke 2 teeth and had a puncture hole above his lip.  The receptionist asked if he was in a fight and laughed, he then replied that he got hit with a piece of equipment at work.  She said they didn’t do stitches there and that was all. He was in a daze as he hit his head and left, no one offered to see the doctor and no work place accident form was completed which you should have completed(you also put on your website that you do that)   No one checked him for a concussion either when he mentioned his concern.

I needed to see a doctor today for severe cough. I got in right away. Dr. Saad saw me. He was very professional. The receptionist was very professional. It sure beats going to Emergency and screened through for 30 minutes.This is the 3rd time I visit. Last time was Dr. Saad for shingles 2 years ago. The previous time was a female doctor for an infection after a rooster attack, 7 years ago.

If you want or your kids want to be practised on then visit this place because they are clueless !! From the lady at the desk to the doctors in practise !! Good luck !! It’s so shameful to have to live in the south end of Guelph and deal with this garage walkin clinic … We need a real doctor and real front desk service !!!

Doctor didn’t even look at my son. She said he just catch a cold. And he didn’t feel good and suffered from sore throat. And he has strep throat.

Always happy to help when you need them. Our two year old had a high fever and they saw him right away. Have used them multiple times for after hours clinic always happy with their service.

Called and was told to arrive by 5:30pm to be seen. Arrived as requested and was refused being told the clinic was done for the day. I do not recommend this clinic, don't waste your time.

Fast, efficient check-in with the receptionist. Fast, efficient visit with doctor. Fast, efficient dispensation of meds at the pharmacy counter. AND open on Sundays. So glad I found this clinic!

A terrible experience with Arkell road. They are understaffed and unprofessional. Do not go there for a serious injury. I wasted 2 weeks of critical time waiting for ultra sound results. My family DR had the results and a referral to a specialist in 24 hours
