Delicious selection of pastries, donuts and desserts. Ordered a variety of cakes for birthday parties and they are always amazing and extremely fresh. Hot table food and pizza is delicious. I have also ordered from their catering menu for different functions and it was loved by everyone. A huge variety of breads to choose from. Highly recommend the bakery. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I popped in by accidental discovery and SO GLAD I DID!! Was lucky enough to grab some ice cream today and let me just say- great quality and taste!! Every. Single. Flavour. My only regret is not getting more ice cream or more red velvet cheesecakes :( Thank you again to the wonderfully kind staff on the recommendations, a little goes a long way especially on a hot day like today! I absolutely loved the bakery! The pastries were so fresh and delicious. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this bakery and can't wait to go back!

I discovered this hidden gem about a year ago and have made it our go to bakery. Fresh and traditional pastries are always available. Everything tastes simply amazing and truly affordable. They go out of their way to satisfy their customers. In my opinion, best Zeppoles in Toronto. Have recommended it to many friends. You guys are simply the best!!!.

The best hidden gem! Such a warm welcoming staff. Love their pastries, especially their cheesecakes. Everything at the hottable is amazing. Fabio, Rita, Destanee make you feel like family. You definitely need to visit this bakery!

What a Win! Staying at the Delta by the airport. About a mile walk from the hotel, I found this great little Italian bakery. They had about 6 kinds of fresh baked croissants (and many other goodies). I opted for the chocolate and pistachio. They also had raspberry, apricot, plain and one other I cannot remember. I walked back to the hotel before indulging in the homemade deliciousness! Amazing!! I know where I will be walking tomorrow morning for my treat.

Montesanto Bakery has an amazing assortment of deliciously fresh pastries, awesome hot table, tasty pizzas and fresh breads!I recently ordered a sfvoglia cake with hazelnut and coffee cream for my daughters birthday and it truly was the best sfoglia we have ever tasted! Sfvoglia is my daughter's all time favourite cake and over the years I have ordered it from various bakeries across Toronto. I can honestly say it was the most delicious, freshest and most beautifully decorated sfvoglia ever! I will never order a cake from anywhere else again!Rita, the owner, is absolutely lovely! You can see the pride she takes in her business, her products and her team members! It is clear that quality and customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to everyone in that store and it is very much appreciated!!! Well done Montesanto Team!!!!

I’m writing another review for this little bakery, because I know it deserves to have people know how Amazing it is.First off if you have written a bad review on this place, than it’s because you have no patience and no idea how hard it is to be in the service business, especially in the times we are in now.It’s a small family run business.They have been operating for a year, renovating and opening during the pandemic.As all businesses need time to get the wheels turning, work out the kinks and find a rhythm to make things run smoothly.So maybe you may have to wait a bit longer to get service.Maybe you might witness an employee feel the pressure, having to hustle a bit to serve a group of people that all just want to get in and get out.People have to remind themselves to be kind, have some compassion and respect.This place does have many great things.They take part in their community by getting to know their regulars. If not by name, then by order.They contribute back into the community by hosting neighbourhood events.If you know this bakery,then you know Santa was there on Dec 4th.Along with live music, hot chocolate and cake handed out, and they even brought a smoker to roast chestnuts.And to all that came to visit and engage with one another, it brought a beautiful warmth and joy that Christmas has to offer this time of year.You don’t find that often.I have made this bakery a 2-3 times a week stop. There are folks that drop by as a daily routine.People have made friends here, meet up with friends here and you can have pleasant conversation with other folks too.The food is great.Always something to pick from either the deli, the hot table, baskets of baked goods and treats, grocery items, fresh baked goodies, special imports and with Christmas around the corner panettoni’s of all sorts, gift baskets, special teas, coffees, small gifts etc.There are endless choicesPop in relax stay a few mins.There’s lots to take in.

Cute bakery in the neighbourhood stocked with all the fun Italian treats and eats, makes me feel like a kid in the candy store every time I visit!However, aside from the bread, it unfortunately gets very expensive very quickly and triggers a level of sticker shock after every visit (4 small dessert pastries netting out to ~$25??).Please add visible pricing to your pastries and hot table; it makes for a much more efficient and inclusive experience for the customer seeing the price upfront and also gives them an opportunity to make more informed decisions. It especially makes no sense that the Mango Gelato I had ordered was priced based on weight instead of cup size.

So happy that a new Italian bakery opened up in my neighborhood. They offer everything from fresh baked delicacies, bread, groceries, a deli table and a hot table. I love that their bread is freshly baked and made daily. I tried their hot table and was very happy with the veal and rappini. Lots of flavor and served hot! They also have a large variety of freshly baked goods and offer everything from donuts, pies, cakes and pastries. Stop by their deli and have one of their bodega style sandwiches made today, you won't be disappointed!
