The Timber Barn

We had our wedding here on November 4th and it was outstanding.From start to finish I felt that I had full support from our coordinator Emily, she was responsive and kept me on track. The food from guilt was incredible and had many guests compliment saying, “this is the best food I have had at a wedding by far”.The decor we left to be placed out was done so thoughtfully and lovely and our day was seamless. The venue itself is gorgeous so a little decor goes a long way. We had the best time and our only complaint is that we wanted the night to go on forever.We loved our experience with the Stella team and would recommend anyone to be married at their amazing venues.

My husband and I held our wedding at The Timber Barn over the weekend. I'm saddened to read some of the negative reviews - it's unfortunate that other couples didn't enjoy the same experience that we did.Aesthetically, the venue is gorgeous. It was exactly what we wanted. We added our own touches with florals and candles for a very romantic vibe - it was perfect. The coordination team setup, lit, and moved approximately 80 candles around the space for us throughout the night as we shifted from the ceremony, upstairs for dinner, and back downstairs for dancing. The whole team was awesome and had a great sense of humour about the extra work! The only damage to glass cylinders came from guests having a bit too much fun on the dancefloor (and the team cleaned the glass in record time).We received rave reviews on the food and cocktails from so many of our guests. A tough job when you're feeding ~125 people. From cocktail hour to late night, it was all amazing. As a really nice touch they left a plate of canapes at the head table for my husband and I to enjoy because we missed a good portion of cocktail hour. They even caught a food sensitivity of one of my bridesmaids that I missed on my initial meal submission to ensure she didn't eat anything that would bother her.From day one the communication was phenomenal. We always received responses to our questions within 24 hours - more often it was within a few hours of us reaching out. Our coordinator, Emily, was wonderful through the entire process.We had a few special requests around bar service, and they met every one of them, no questions asked. We read reviews mentioning the security team being a concern, brought it up to our coordinator in our final meeting, she assured us it wouldn't be a problem - and it wasn't.I'm sure there were hiccups throughout the day, but if there were I can assure you that I didn't know about them.With any contract there are expectations set and signed-off on, by both parties. The Timber Barn team was clear on their expectations of us as clients - their preferred method of communication, what they were capable of doing/not doing, and how construction delays impacted us/our wedding. We were also clear on our expectations of them, and of how we wanted our wedding day to unfold. They met, and in most cases, exceeded our expectations - the day was everything we hoped for and more.

Cannot say enough good things about the Timber Barn team! Madison has been wonderful to work with and keeps us on track to be calm and collected to enjoy our wedding day this June! We are so grateful!

My wife and I held our wedding at the Timber Barn last weekend. It was not only an amazing day, but an amazing experience working with our coordinator Emily and the management team. The set cadence of meetings was just the right amount to be able to have in-depth conversations with our coordinator about our vision for the day and raise questions or concerns that come with planning a wedding for the first time. In addition to these meetings, the entire team was very timely to respond to one-off question on their platform. We also felt very supported in the early stages of planning by being provided with a comprehensive list of preferred vendors and a tips & tricks planning guide.They went above and beyond in ensuring that the vision we communicated was executed. This included our coordinator being on-site 8+ hours before the ceremony to ensure the proper set-up of our décor and that our vendors had everything that they needed. Any request that we had was heard and executed. This included making unique garnishes for our signature cocktails, ensuring that we had these drinks in the bridal suite immediately following the ceremony so my wife and I could soak in our first 5 minutes together as a married couple, and ensuring that the ingredients for Shirley Temples were available for our two underage guests.The venue itself offered everything we were hoping for and lends itself to the creation of a great space for an intimate ceremony and reception (something that many of our guests provided feedback to us on). There is an amazing outdoor courtyard that is lined with string lights and created fantastic photo opportunities both during the day and for flash photography in the evening. The entire team was extremely helpful in the clean-up of our décor that all we had to do was put it into the awaiting vehicle. We made it very clear by labelling our boxes and storage containers what belonged in each and they were returned to the same locations at the end of the night in the same bubble wrap/protection that it arrived in.For us and our experience, the venue and level of service were 5-stars.

Amy and I had our wedding at the Timber Barn on May 6, 2023 and everything went very well. The ceremony was perfect and started on time. The staff was extremely friendly and did a great job. The food was excellent and dinner was served at a pretty good pace.The Timber Barn is a beautiful venue. I loved that we were able to have the ceremony & reception in one location, and we are right in the heart of St. Jacobs, so you can ensure you'll get some incredible photos. It was a day we'll remember forever.

We got married at The Timber Barn on June 10, 2023. We originally saw the venue while it was under construction back in October 2021. The team did an amazing job describing how it will look and it truly lived up to everything they said!The venue is so beautiful which is amazing because you need very very little decor. Also, the area around the venue is absolutely adorable which is amazing for photos. It's great that we didn't have to travel at all for pictures and could just walk outside.Our coordinator was Madison and she was really easy to work with. She was great at always getting back to us quickly which is the best!People always say to prepare yourself for something to go wrong on your wedding day but ours literally had nothing go wrong. The flow was amazing. Dinner was incredibly fast (we had 125 people and everyone was fed and dancing by 7:30). We had so many compliments from our guests about the food. The food was AMAZING!If you're looking for a venue that's all inclusive and great to work with, I highly recommend the Timber Barn!

My husband and I got married at the Timber Barn in January 2023. Jenny was our coordinator and made the process extremely smooth and stress-free. She answered all of our questions and had informative meetings with us leading up to the big day. The day-of was perfect and totally exceeded our expectations! The Timber Barn staff were so organized, on top of everything and we had no issues at all. Our guests LOVED the food and have been telling us how great it was even months later. We are so glad we chose the Timber Barn as our wedding venue and would highly recommend it for a beautiful, stress-free wedding day and planning process!

We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding at the timber barn on November 5. We had so much fun tasting and planning with Stella co staff. Our coordinator Amanda helped us feel at ease with all things planning, and was quick to answer our many questions, and take us for walk throughs when requested. Our day came and went so beautifully and we would recommend this wedding venue to any couple. They make it your own with cute personal touches and bring your wedding vision to life <3

We booked our wedding nearly 2 years ago for June of this year and throughout this process the Stella team has been wonderful to work with, very responsive and helped address any concerns we had. Our coordinator Madison has been great to work with especially and the venue looks beautiful. The prices were also fair compared to other venues in KW but with a super nice aesthetic so you can get away with doing limited decor and still having a beautiful wedding. Also the natural light through all the windows is <3

Our daughter was married at the Timber Barn September 2022. And as this was going to be one on the first weddings held at the brand new venue I was a little nervous if the venue would be ready for this very important day. However I am so very happy to say TB got it perfect right out of the gate!!! This tastefully restored building is beautiful! The rustic chic decor is very well done. From the welcoming entrance area to the adorable bridal suite, to the magical ceremony and dining areas it was perfect . So many guests raved about the food served. During the cocktail hour guests were served delicious appetizers . (Chicken waffles, bacon wrapped dates, crusted onion). The Braised Beef Rib and Turkey dinner that Gilt Catering served was over the top amazing. They have totally mastered providing a top notch dining experience for a group setting.Thank you for making our daughter’s day as beautiful and magical as we all had dreamed about!
