The place to go if you want something fixed

I had been a long-time customer but started to have major issues of when my ring was going to be made and the time frame. He was hard to get a hold of and brushed me off twice. Thought that I would give it another chance and this time was even worse, took forever to get my ring and he told me he would give me a discount because of the multiple delays but when I went to finally pick up my ring, he tried to charge me full price. Needless to say I am no longer a customer and have taken all of my business to the Gold Room on 72nd & Scott Rd.

Master Goldsmith came highly recommended by someone who had several jewelry items made by him so we gave him a try especially because money was an object. We learned the hard way, you get what you pay for. The price was amazing, but it took several months of promises before my husband and I were able to get our matching wedding rings made from a sentimental piece of my husband's late mother. He took liberties in design and we had to take the rings back several times to have the style corrected. Within the year we both lost a stone from our ring. My husbands first. Although Master Goldsmith agreed to repair the ring and replace the stone without charge, his promises of next week, next week, took about 4 months to receive my husband's ring back and when we did, he had put a completely different color sapphire in it which didn't match the one that hadn't fallen out. When it came to my ring, there was NO WAY I was even going to bother asking for a free placement diamond because I knew it would take months of promises to have the ring back on my hand. I have since taken it to a reputable 5 star jeweler who let me know all the reasons why we lost stones out of rings which should NEVER have happened if the work was done right in the first place. I DO NOT recommend this place even though the price is amazing. It is truly a case of you get WHAT YOU PAY FOR!
