Proxima Command

Went to Proxima Command for my brother's birthday last week. It was a good test cause he and I are Star-Trek-trivia-winning nerds, but the rest of the group were decidedly not. Everyone had a great time. It's not so much an escape room as a bridge mission simulator. We got ourselves blown up a couple times before figuring out a) how everything functioned and how each role supported each other and b) how to function and communicate effectively as a team. In that respect, it was a very successful entertainment and learning experience! And my brother got to say Engage" and "Make it so" a bunch of times. So everyone wins.The concept was well executed especially for the first gen. The systems were all tied together much better than I'd imagined

While very good and very fun. It is more of a video game than a escape room. If knowing that going in, I would probably give it a 5 star, however I was hoping to have to use my brain and try to solve puzzles. Instead I played a Star Trek esque simulator for an hour. Not what I was expecting but defiantly very well made and very fun if knowing that’s what you’ll get.

Had such a great time! It's was so much fun, if you're a Sci fi fan always wanted to play out being on the bride of a star ship then this is for you. Staff are amazing and helpful. I cannot wait to gather the crew and go back again

Highly recommended! All 6 of us had lots of fun. The crew interaction makes it feel like you're on an actual starship bridge, the missions are fun and exciting, and the simulator itself is pretty impressive.

Not your traditional escape room, more like a video game. Very immersive visuals and effects. They could do a bit more to up the experience by bringing more energy and finesse to the opening spiel, ensuring the number of chairs matches the people in the group, and matching the energy at the end to send customers home maintaining the high of completing the mission. A little bummed they don’t have stats to go with the experience, we find it fun to know how we did in comparison to others.

Went to Proxima Command as part of a bachelor party and everyone had a blast. There was a bit of a learning curve but we managed to figure out our roles within the ship and we plan on going back for more

This was an amazing experience! If you’ve ever wanted to command a starship or enjoy Star Trek, this is for you! You and your crew will endeavour to pilot a starship and encounter enemies who you have to battle. We had 6 members and it was the best amount as the last 2 positions (communications and transporters) are easily combinable. The setting is amazing, making you feel like you are really on the bridge of a starship!Would definitely return in the future!

This was such a fun experience! I went with a group of 7, only knowing one person, and by the end of it we were all howling laughing and having a blast. Great team building experience and just plain old fun! If you like science fiction - you'll LOVE this. Even if you don't like Sci-Fi, you'll still have a good time. Don't be intimidated by the commands - you swiftly learn it and the complexity makes it so much more immersive. I can't wait to go again!

We did the escape room (spaceship collapsing) and had a decent time. The level was pretty tough but we escaped with about 4 mins remaining out of the hour allotted. A two star deduction was actioned in my review due to i) high price of $40/person after tax for 1 hour and ii) some of the lights didnt go green after we got the correct answer. Patrick mentioned the technical issues 10 minutes in - its not a big deal that he forgot to tell us after we started, but hopefully the light issues can be resolved because it gets a bit confusing and at the premium price everything should be working. Overall it was a decent day and a good use of the space.

My son and his friends had the BEST time for his 12th birthday party this past weekend. They really enjoyed the immersive aspect of this - and we really appreciated how everyone got to play their own role! Very engaging and fun for everyone! This is not your typical “escape room”, it’s more of a “simulation” - and it was SO fun! Great special effects too.
