Second time coming to this location. Excellent service the first time, I wish I was able to say the same about last time. Many selections of beer were unavailable, food showed up in a timely manner, however when I ordered a second drink, our server came to our table and apologized the bar tender was taking so long to make it. (He was busy talking to people at the bar counter). After 20 minutes our server came back and apologized again and said she was removing this drink off the bill because he still had not began to make the drink and was still talking to what appeared to be coworkers who had finished their shift. At this point I no longer even wanted the drink as I was finished my meal. The entire family seating section was full with only one server who was run off her feet trying to keep up with everyone while the bar tender rather than helping just stood there continuing to talk. My drink was finally made as I paid my bill and was leaving and our server came and apologized again for the drink taking so long and assured me she had removed it off my bill. Our service was very good from our server, who despite how busy the place was and being the only server she managed to keep up with customers and did an excellent job.

We went in to Montana’s last night for dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant and were not acknowledged by staff for several minutes. Our server seemed confused by us being there and hesitant to bring us menus.The ribs were pretty standard and our fries were very underdone and not edible.Staff seemed more interested in closing than customer service.The last time we were in, the food was disappointing, but the customer service was better.We will not be returning.

I hate to leave a bad review but I have to. This is the fifth or sixth time our family has gone with the worst waitress ever. The food is great but the service by this server (unsure of name sorry) but it's terrible. We were sat then she was our server never said her name. We ordered a drink which was flat and that was pretty much the last we saw of her. We got our food and magically the bartender took over. We were happier and asked if he was out new server maybe because of a shift end. He said no his wife had to go for something and would be back .. so our server? She left and never came back. We had very little help after that I feel sorry for the bartender to be married to such laziness. He seems very nice. If I had to return for the service I'd rather cut my leg off. If I had to return for food only then I'd be happy to. This person should not be serving. Zero tip for a reason.

Good restaurant in Cochrane, thats really kid friendly. Food is consistent. Service is really friendly.Mar 21, 2023 - Service is still really good. Food is good. Tried the Taco special. They were ok.

Amazing meal and service! Drove 4000 kilometers from the States just cutting through to Alaska. It was the best meal of the trip.

I informed the waitress, Tanis, about a piece of hair being in my son’s drink and said that ruined my appetite. All she said was “oh sorry”Perhaps tie your hair up so that wouldn’t happen to any other customer?Otherwise food is always good

Although the serving staff were all very pleasant and reasonable, the service must be rated sub-par. Likely through no fault of the actual servers.Upon arrival, the restaurant was not busy at all, but it took roughly 20 minutes to place our drink, order and then it took forever to recieve them.Once we had ordered food (table of seven), it took an inordinate amount of time to receive the dishes, and they arrived very slowly one or two at a time overly roughly 10 minutes. My Wife ordered chicken fajitas and she was the first to receive her meal (tortillas, and accoutrements), but without the chicken. The last item delivered was finally her chicken.I would have expected better at a well established business like Montana's.
