Great little shop! Has a great selection of yarns and various other items. If you need to be taught how to knit or crochet I'd highly recommend Christina.

Three years ago, I contacted Christina Pridie to learn properly , how to knit and crochet.Christina is excellant with teaching, knowledge and years of experience.She is a very caring and warm person, to herself and her clients.Christina is a very community driven lady, doing charity work for various agencies.Christina has become my dear friend and teacher.

She is extremely knowledgeable, and when you take a class, all your materials will be ready and packaged for the first lesson. I’ve been going to Peterborough Yarn Shop for a number of years. The owner Christina Pridie is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve attended many classes and done many projects over the years which was great as I gave away gifts for Christmas. It’s very important to support local businesses especially now. Please attend her classes and purchase supplies. You won’t be disappointed.

Christina's seamless design patterns are easy to follow and result in a garment that you can be proud to give as a gift or wear personally. Her workshops are well planned and contain numerous notes which explain complex techniques. She makes every effort to demonstrate and assist participants if they are new to knitting how to complete the project and have success.

It's ok but a tiny separate shop located way at the back of her house ... pathway to shop is a bit treacherous even if you're steady on your feet. When I was there, no sign indicating shop at back - not knowing any different, I went to the front door of the house - WRONG!I thought I'd heard the shop was moving to a different location. If anyone has information about the move"

I do not live in the area so I just recently visited this shop. It’s a cute little cottage, full of lovely yarns and other crafting inspirations in Peterborough’s East City. The owner is very knowledgeable and very helpful. She creates her own patterns and they are also available in the store. Her partner does some wonderful work with some unique woods and his work has been incorporated in the shop. For any yarn crafter, this place is a must see!!

I am so happy I found Christina. I love taking her classes. I’ve learned so much more beyond “knit and purl” that I really didn’t know existed. I’m amazed how quickly she has taught me to knit accurately and properly for a beautiful finish. Plus her classes are enjoyable and fun. A great group of ladies to spend an afternoon or evening with. And such a great excuse to get out of the house and do something for ME! I highly recommend joining a class. But even if you can’t, this yarn shop is fantastic for supplies and wonderful patterns. Christina can find you anything you need!
