Downtown Thai restos are moving up north!We came here on a Saturday around 5:45 and were seated right away. They have a big patio as well.We ordered:- Tom Kha Gai (coconut soup): 2/5 It was really salty!!! Good amount of sourness and had lots of meat and veggies inside. But jeeeeeez the amount of sodium left a weird feeling in your throat too.- Chicken Wings: 2/5 Quite disappointed by this. $19 for 8 wings/drumettes… which would have been acceptable other than the fact the chicken itself was bland. Only flavour came from the vinegar-fish sauce dip, which was still pretty light in flavour. It came out piping hot tho.- Pad Thai: 3/5 Average pad thai. Not the best… it’s a bit lacking in tamarind flavour. But fresh and massive portion!- Thai Tea: 4/5 Decent thai tea.It’s very spacious in here, the tables are spaced apart well. There’s also a bar area. Service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive with the waters.Unlikely to return given the growing number of thai restaurants in the area :(

So happy there is a new Markham location for halal Thai food. Everything was excellent! Khao Soi, delicious!

I am so glad that Sukhothai opened in Markham this Sunday. Now there is no need to drive to Toronto anymore to get authentic Thai flavours. Everything tastes exactly like the other locations and the food is halal. Highly recommended!

The food was good. I really like it. The service was a bit slow, and messy. (Places are always understaffed, so I understand) we did patio, was good. Got to try many dishes and they were all good. (Just two of us, but we wanted to try a lot of things) I didn’t not like any of them. Food is most important to me, and the staffed tried their best.

We ordered the pad Thai and vegetable stir fried rice. Both were delicious. Service was nice too. Eating on the patio was enjoyable.

Finally, a restaurant with really decent Thai food in Markham ! Ordered cocktails (Sukhothai Dragon Eye & Purple Rain); appetite raising mango salad (looks like french fries but whole lot healthier), crispy & perfectly fried calamari, the rich & creamy Khao Soi (curry with egg noodles big enough to share) with choice of medium spiciness and tender chicken breast meat (wonder how chef did it) and Pad Kee Mao with choice of beef (more like a toned down version of Pad Thai, good for people who want lighter meal). Busy place but servers tried their very best to accommodate though. Probably somewhat understaffed so can't imagine what would be like during dinner time. P.s bought Thai iced tea to go in a cute bottle but the drink is too sweet for my taste.

Wait time: 1/5Food: 4/5Portion sizes: 3/5Price: 3/5My food (Khao soi) was good! However the rest of our dishes took about a 30min+ wait unfortunately. It must've been a busy night. Food was pretty good for the most part, but for this price the portions especially for the green curry and the one of the noodle soups were very little :( would still go again though!

Was really excited to try this new location in Markham but was quite disappointed. Had to wait about 45 mins to get my food. It took about 30 mins before our Thai Iced Tea came out. Food was ok but not great either. The place seemed understaffed as I had to ask a few times regarding our missing food and to get the bill. Hope it's just because this is a new location and they continue to improve.

Food and drinks were deliciousssss. The waiter was so nice and accommodating. Decor was also nice. Can't wait to come back again for the patio! Thai milk tea made fresh everyday!!!! So yummy!!!!
