I would give them 5 stars once construction is complete. Just a beautiful course by the water. Hard to beat. Not much to the clubhouse , no driving range, small putting green. Really fun course with good distance and challenging greens. Not much in terms of cart service. Golf course is maintained but not pristine. At the end of the day golfing by the lake is really hard to beat … definitely coming back!

Such a beautiful golf course besides Lake Ontario.Play one round of golf today, first time play here, driving one hour and 20 minutes.

Two negative comments to start: the new greens are as unforgiving as you’ll ever find. If the greens crew can get them to soften up to receive a ball, they’ll be laughing. Secondly, we didn’t see the beverage cart until the back nine. With no clubhouse access during your round, it’s a long time to go without refreshments. The positives: I would say it would be hard pressed to find a golf course with better views of Lake Ontario and the shoreline anywhere along the north or south shores. Set stop the cliffs, the course offers great visibility east and west throughout the round. We were lucky to have a gorgeous day to play a round. The speed of play was suitable and enjoyable. Once the new clubhouse is open and the organization cleans up the mess from the old holes, this will be a course people will want to come play. Well done.

I golfed here today and the first 12 holes are beautiful. The last 6 are decent. My main issue is that the course play is not monitored by a Marshall at all. I was golfing behind 2 groups of friends who joined up. We were golfing behind a group of 8. We were waiting for 10 minutes for every shot including drives, approach shots etc. horrible.

Wow! Made our decision to play a round here based on other reviews. Everything about the course is top notch. Tee boxes well maintained, fairways impeccable and the greens, challenging”So happy we chose this course to kick off our vacation time. We both agreed, “we would play this course again”

Not one thing to complain about this golf course! The views are incredible, the course layout is fantastic (especially after the remodel), fairways are well maintained, tee boxes are in excellent shape and the greens are in great shape as well. Not the longest course out there, but the layout and shape of the course definitely makes you play smarter golf.I believe they are currently working on getting the driving range back in shape, but there are hitting nets that allow you to warmup.

Organized a large group of guys to play here for part of a bachelor party.. Every single one of them said it was the best and nicest course they have played on. Stunning views right on/by the water, everything about this course was nice. I am not a golfer and I had a great time. I have been telling all the people I know about how nice this course was. Special thanks to Corey and the staff for being so nice and accommodating and helping with scheduling planning in advance. Thank you!!

Just finished a round here and I am SOO glad I decided to come here while I had some time to spare in town. Probably the most fun I have had on a course in quite some time. I have played virtually every decent to great course in the Kawarthas and Durham and IMO, this is up there as far as scenery and interesting/challenging greens. One of the friendly employees described it as the Pebble Beach of the North and perhaps that is a slight stretch but I see the resemblance. Many of the holes run along or towards lake Ontario and there are many greens that have that infinity pool type feel as they are slightly elevated with the lake in the background so there is false back edge. Greens are quite hard yet puttable as they are surprisingly not incredibly fast.Even with a wedge shot or short iron and a spinny ball, hit the front of the green as the ball tends to take a hard bounce even from 70-100 yards out. Fairways are also in excellent shape and firm and fast and undulating which makes you use your head. Ripping a driver on every long hole is generally not wise in some cases. A well struck 3 or 5 wood can go a long way if it hits the fairway and runs out. Also pretty cool and unique in that some of the holes are separated by that train tracks which requires a ride up and across a bridge to get to the other side. Fun ride and great spot for pics. A very unique feature and way better than riding through tunnels such as is the case at other course.I will 100% be back and this has become my fav hidden gem and great value.Do yourself a favour and do not listen to the crybabies. Yes there is a short gravel road coming in, yes there is not a driving range and the club house is not like Glen Abbey although has everything you might need and is clean and well attended. This is still the best track and straight up value around without a doubt. If you want to play a cow pasture that has zero trouble, no breathtaking scenery and greens that are like marshmallows and will receive virtually any ball, this is not the place for you.$120-$200 rounds in Durham/Kawarthas are not this fun, full stop.Pro tip! I use two separate golf gps apps and neither worked well or had correct yardages due to weak cell signals. Grab a yardage book before the round. Very well put together and essential.

This place is a real hidden gem, the greens are of pga quality, everything seemed very lush, I did play after a rain storm though, but the drainage was pretty good. The track is neat, play from the tips your first time! Great views of lake Ontario, overall cool design, I wouldn't walk it though, there are some holes that go back n forth and some tee blocks are very spread out.Its very confusing to get to your first time, good luck!!
